From Naples, FL to Raleigh, NC, America First Moving made my 4-bedroom move a breeze. I was impressed with how organized the crew was—they labeled everything so unpacking was a dream. They also went above and beyond by securing my outdoor furniture and fragile artwork separately to ensure nothing shifted during transit.
My parents finally made their dream move from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Tampa, Florida. I helped them find America First Moving after reading great reviews, and I’m so glad I did. The movers were patient, understanding, and treated my parents’ furniture like their own. They even helped my dad reconnect his TV setup before leaving. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free for them.
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
I moved from San Jose, California to Raleigh, North Carolina in mid-December for a new engineering role. Even with winter weather and holiday traffic, America First Moving delivered exactly when promised. My home office setup arrived in perfect condition.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.
Moving from Portland, OR to Miami, FL sounded overwhelming, but America First Moving made it painless. They wrapped our furniture carefully and kept constant communication through the trip. Everything arrived intact and on time.
I recently moved my 1-bedroom apartment from Fort Myers to Cape Coral and America First Moving did a wonderful job. The team was on time, very careful with my furniture and kitchen items, and worked efficiently. It was a simple, stress-free move. Highly recommend!
