They protected our hardwood furniture with multiple layers and kept us informed while on the road. Everything arrived safely, including our big sectional couch.
After accepting a new position, I relocated from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Grand Rapids, Michigan. America First Moving handled the logistics professionally and kept me informed throughout the move. The packing team was efficient, and the delivery crew placed everything exactly where I needed it in the new apartment.
After downsizing, I relocated from Rochester, New York to Hilton Head, South Carolina. America First Moving was respectful and careful with items that had sentimental value. Everything was packed securely and arrived in excellent condition. Their professionalism made a big life transition much easier.
Moving my 4-bedroom house from Tampa to Nashville, TN felt overwhelming at first, but America First Moving took all the stress away. The team was professional and friendly, wrapping my fragile items in extra padding and making sure my antique dresser arrived without a mark. They worked quickly but never sacrificed quality, and delivery was right on schedule. I would trust them again in a heartbeat for any big move.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
A relative of mine recommended them for my move; I was surprised by his testimonial so I wanted them to help me with my move too. They offer full coverage insurance and it is not expensive at all. I decided to hire this company and to me was the best choice. They are very friendly movers and made sure my furniture arrived in perfect condition. I feel I paid the right price for the right service.
Could not be more pleased with my move with America First movers. They promised excellence and they delivered. They made a trying experience hassle-free and easy. Eric, Robert, Sarah, Angel and Irma were incredible!
Tengis and Brandon were terrific!! Smooth delivery and everything delivered with care. Great communication, they called the day before delivery to let me know of approximate arrival time, then again the morning of and one hour prior to arrival. Highly recommended!!
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
