So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
I relocated from Chicago, Illinois to Dallas, Texas for work. America First Moving gave me a fair quote and stuck to it. The movers were friendly and respectful, and they wrapped all my furniture carefully. They even helped me move a heavy treadmill without complaining. Delivery came a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise.
