They coordinated everything ahead of time, showed up with a full crew, and handled my 3-bedroom home like true pros. Nothing was damaged and they delivered right on schedule. I’d absolutely recommend them for any long-distance move.
I moved from Seattle, WA to Jacksonville, FL after deciding to live closer to my sister. America First Moving handled everything with total professionalism. They wrapped all my large furniture individually, kept me updated while the truck crossed the country, and delivered right on the agreed date. Nothing was scratched or dented, which amazed me considering how far everything traveled.

The crew packed carefully, labeled everything clearly, and stayed in touch during transit. Delivery was right on time and nothing arrived damaged.
My experience with America First Moving was better than i expected. I've used Moving companies before, in the past and I've always ended up with a broken item or something missing upon delivery or movers who weren't careful loading from truck into my home. That wasn't the case with America First Moving. First, i received a quote that was lower than over 90% of other companies I've contacted for the same job. Next i was connected with a move coordinator who let me know what to expect step-by-step. Once the formalities were complete, the movers the company sent carefully and quickly packaged and loaded all items into the truck. I was moving to Florida from Vermont and i received real time updates of the drivers progress/ location, which made me feel secure during the traveling process. The driver arrived on time, my items were unloaded by their movers and they even helped me assemble a few tables and furniture. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move from A-B with no problems or worries.
DO NOT USE. Scammers and crooks. Any positive reviews are scams. Check out their better business bureau rating. Here are the facts: 1. Your price will double 2 days before the pickup. (Bait and switch) 2. If you want it within the 2-3 days you asked for delivery they will add $1K (no disclosure at sale.) Without paying this, expect items to arrive 3-4 weeks later. 3. Your items get moved on/off trucks-warehouse multiple times. Boxes THROWN on the truck in a pile. Zero professional movers involved. 4. Items will be damaged and totally LOST. 5. You won't be compensated. Your credit company can't help. 6. The people who sell you the contract will vanish; the service reps will blame you for everything. MY ADVICE: A cross country move will only go well if you do it yourself (UHaul pod serice is fabulous, 1/3rd the cost) or hire a prominent national mover.
Relocating from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Phoenix, AZ for my company’s expansion could’ve been stressful, but Safe Travels Moving and Storage made it simple. Their crew was organized, friendly, and efficient. Everything arrived safely, even our large glass dining table.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
We moved our 4-bedroom home from Orlando to Atlanta, GA and America First Moving made it look easy. The crew packed our entire kitchen and garage, labeled everything, and took great care with our heirlooms. Delivery was smooth and nothing was lost or broken.
