This is the finest decision I've ever made. They are punctual, professional, and kind, which makes working with them a delight. They got right down to business and were genuinely happy to be there. They were exceedingly careful with my belongings and wrapped them three times. They handled my fragile possessions with the utmost care.
They shortened the time our company was down, and we were back up and running in no time. Getting from one state to another seemed like an insurmountable task. Alma Moving, however, recommended movers who alleviated a lot of anxiety. They took care of everything, made sure everything got there safely, and kept me informed at all times.
Moving can be stressful, but this team made everything incredibly easy. They were professional, careful, respectful, and very efficient. From loading to unloading, everything went smoothly and without any problems. Great customer service and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended!
We hired Alma Moving to move our belongings from Charlotte, NC to Norfolk, VA (only a 5-hour distance). Before signing, their representative promised delivery within 1–3 days. Based on this, we signed. • After pickup on August 15, nothing arrived within 3 days. • Then they told us 7 days. Still nothing. • Later, they claimed our belongings were “on the way,” but weeks passed. Today it has been 25 days, and we still don’t know where our belongings are. They never respond to emails, only through BBB. We even asked to pick up our items ourselves, but they ignored us. At pickup, their staff wrapped our couch in a dirty blanket, even though we provided clean plastic covers. This makes us worry that our items are being stored in poor, unhygienic conditions. We have been forced to live in an empty house, buy new essentials, and suffer both financial and emotional stress. If our belongings arrive damaged, we will take legal action. We strongly warn others: do not trust Alma Moving. They are misleading, unprofessional, and provide false information just to make you sign.
I was supposed to be moved into my new home on April 22. Alma asked to be paid in full ahead of this date for an immediate delivery. Here it is on July 13 and I still don't have my stuff; they don't return any calls, and there's no sign of my stuff being moved anywhere in the country. They refuse to disclose the plan for me getting my stuff, if ever, nor do they provide any updates on timing or expectations. I cannot recommend against Alma more.
The meticulous care they took in wrapping each item, regardless of size, was reassuring. They ensured that everything arrived intact, with no damages or losses. Upon arrival at my new residence, they were equally diligent, placing each item precisely where I desired and assisting with unpacking and organization.
The crew worked late into the evening to finish my move. I thought they would rush, but they stayed steady and careful right until the last box was placed in my new living room.

Even though it was pouring outside, they moved all of my possessions with extreme care, ensuring sure nothing damaged and avoiding annoyance to anyone nearby. When I asked for a reschedule, John reassured me that they would handle it with care; they did so with remarkable elegance! Alma Moving is fantastic, you guys. Incredible worth for the price.
What an outstanding job the company did! They showed up, gave me a free quote, scheduled the move, and even offered storage for less than other moving companies charge per month. They were there ahead of schedule and wrapped and boxed all the necessary items. I highly suggest their services and will use them again.
