Keep away your valuables from this company
We hired Alma Moving to move our belongings from Charlotte, NC to Norfolk, VA (only a 5-hour distance). Before signing, their representative promised delivery within 1–3 days. Based on this, we signed. • After pickup on August 15, nothing arrived within 3 days. • Then they told us 7 days. Still nothing. • Later, they claimed our belongings were “on the way,” but weeks passed. Today it has been 25 days, and we still don’t know where our belongings are. They never respond to emails, only through BBB. We even asked to pick up our items ourselves, but they ignored us. At pickup, their staff wrapped our couch in a dirty blanket, even though we provided clean plastic covers. This makes us worry that our items are being stored in poor, unhygienic conditions. We have been forced to live in an empty house, buy new essentials, and suffer both financial and emotional stress. If our belongings arrive damaged, we will take legal action. We strongly warn others: do not trust Alma Moving. They are misleading, unprofessional, and provide false information just to make you sign.

Amazing Crew!
The service provided helped me move out of a small flat and did so in an effortless manner. They managed to pack up the possessions I had carefully and utilized the space in the truck effectively. The guys showed respect for my possessions and performed the task on time without causing any unnecessary delays. It is amazing how everything seemed to be so well organized from the start to the end. The service made the whole day less stressful for me.

Great Local Move with Alma Moving
Alma Moving helped us relocate within Miami, and they were fantastic! The crew was punctual, efficient, and handled all our furniture with care including a heavy piano. Everything arrived safely, and the whole process was smooth. Definitely recommend for local moves

Wow, these guys are great; thanks a lot!
The crew was punctual and got right to work. They worked together so well that the entire move felt like it was over in no time. I noticed they used plenty of padding and wraps on my furniture, which kept everything safe during transport. They also made sure all the boxes were placed in the right rooms at the new place, which was a huge help.

Buyer Beware.
Bubble wrap was also used to encase the mirror. On delivery, the contents were found to be in a completely damaged mirror and a dresser with a large split along one side. "Maybe you should have chosen better-quality furniture," the movers smirked as they responded to my questions. I was devastated by their lack of sensitivity and professionalism.

Trustworthy & Efficient
Moving can be stressful, but this team made everything incredibly easy. They were professional, careful, respectful, and very efficient. From loading to unloading, everything went smoothly and without any problems. Great customer service and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Quick and Effortless!
We had to be extra careful not to scratch the walls or flooring since we were moving into a rental apartment. To make sure everything was moved safely, the movers used corner guards and floor runners. Keep up the good work!

FRAUD
Because my large sofa wouldn't fit through the doorway, I warned the movers to be careful. Without stopping, they rammed it through, destroying my hardwood floor and removing the paint from the walls in the process. When I pointed out the damage, they remarked, "That's what happens when you have narrow hallways," while rolling their eyes. The company wouldn't pay for the repairs, so I ended up spending hundreds of dollars on them
