This is going to be the only moving company we'll ever use!
I’ve been collecting antiques for years, and I needed to move everything to a new home. I had some very fragile items, like porcelain vases and glass figurines, and I was anxious about them being damaged. The movers wrapped everything in protective material and moved it all without any problems. I could tell they were experienced with antiques, and I was so relieved when everything arrived safely.

they handled everything very well.
We were moving across town but had a huge aquarium and didn't know how to manage it. We drained and prepped it ahead of time, but I was still nervous. The crew knew exactly how to handle it. They padded it properly, loaded it upright, and made sure it was the last thing out of the truck. It was a relief to see it all go well.

True professionals!
It poured rain on my moving day, and I was sure my furniture would get soaked. But Alma Moving came prepared. They had heavy-duty plastic covers for my mattresses, waterproof tarps for loading and unloading, and used fast-drying cloths to wipe down furniture before bringing it inside. Despite the storm, nothing got wet or damaged, and they didn’t rush when thunder started rolling in. True professionals!

Loyal Customer service.
Even though it was pouring outside, they moved all of my possessions with extreme care, ensuring sure nothing damaged and avoiding annoyance to anyone nearby. When I asked for a reschedule, John reassured me that they would handle it with care; they did so with remarkable elegance! Alma Moving is fantastic, you guys. Incredible worth for the price.

Excellent bargain
Alma Moving was the bomb! These movers were amazing from the start. They showed up on time and worked non-stop to get my heavy bookcase and a huge projector to my new pad without a scratch. They were super careful and respectful of my belongings. I give them props for making my move as smooth as silk.

They also maintained a professional attitude throughout the process and treated our belongings with the same level of care that we would have used ourselves. The entire experience felt controlled and well organized, which helped reduce the stress normally associated with packing and moving.

Keep away your valuables from this company
We hired Alma Moving to move our belongings from Charlotte, NC to Norfolk, VA (only a 5-hour distance). Before signing, their representative promised delivery within 1–3 days. Based on this, we signed. • After pickup on August 15, nothing arrived within 3 days. • Then they told us 7 days. Still nothing. • Later, they claimed our belongings were “on the way,” but weeks passed. Today it has been 25 days, and we still don’t know where our belongings are. They never respond to emails, only through BBB. We even asked to pick up our items ourselves, but they ignored us. At pickup, their staff wrapped our couch in a dirty blanket, even though we provided clean plastic covers. This makes us worry that our items are being stored in poor, unhygienic conditions. We have been forced to live in an empty house, buy new essentials, and suffer both financial and emotional stress. If our belongings arrive damaged, we will take legal action. We strongly warn others: do not trust Alma Moving. They are misleading, unprofessional, and provide false information just to make you sign.

Smooth Move!
Several fragile items were additionally protected while transporting them. Everything was delivered safely and arranged properly. They spoke to me clearly and helped me all day long. The experience met all my expectations.
