Moving company in Blandon, PA
One of the reasons for our move was to get an extra room for working from home. We had a desk, an ergonomic chair, bookshelves and several boxes of documents to transport. Getting those pieces into the intended room gave me a starting point for setting up the workspace I had wanted for a long time.
My lease was. I needed the apartment emptied before the final inspection. The movers worked through the bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances and remaining cartons leaving the rooms clear for cleaning. I could concentrate on checking the cupboards and returning the keys of worrying about the heavy lifting.
I have a woodworking hobby, which means my garage contains far more tools than the average household. We separated the power tools, workbench accessories and storage cabinets before moving day. Having the equipment delivered together meant I could get my workshop organized again without searching through boxes from every room.
My family has antique furniture passed down for generations, and I was nervous about the move. The team wrapped every piece in blankets and shrink wrap, carried it carefully, and positioned it in the truck so nothing would shift. At the new house, everything came out in perfect condition. You can really tell they respect people’s belongings.
I couldn't take the day off so I arranged my meetings around the expected moving window. The crew followed the agreed plan. I was able to handle a few work calls while the household items were being moved. It helped me manage both responsibilities without having to postpone everything until the week.
Our renovation contractor was scheduled to begin work shortly after we vacated the house. We needed the rooms completely clear, including the basement and spare bedroom that had become storage areas. Getting those final spaces emptied allowed the renovation work to proceed without furniture or boxes in the way.
I relocated from Pennsylvania to Arizona for work, and the idea of moving that far made me nervous. I had visions of broken dishes, lost boxes, and missed deadlines. But All Directions Van Lines handled everything like pros. They picked up my belongings in Philadelphia, kept me updated the whole trip, and delivered in Phoenix on the exact day they promised. When the truck doors opened, I couldn’t believe everything was in perfect shape. Not even a scuff on my couch. It was such a relief to know my things were in safe hands for such a big move.
I was honestly dreading moving day, but All Directions Van Lines made it much easier than I imagined. The crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves politely, and started wrapping all my furniture with so much care. They handled fragile items like glass cabinets and artwork as if it were their own. What I loved most was how calm and organized they were, which kept me calm too. By the end of the day, not a single scratch on anything. Highly recommend.
Moving during an Alaskan winter is a headache on its own, but Paul and his crew turned it into something I could actually handle. They showed up in Anchorage with gear that could handle the snow and ice. Paul double-checked every item before loading, making sure nothing would get damp. He even joked about how he treated my TV “like his own.” By the time we finished, I realized nothing was broken, wet, or scratched. Honestly, I don’t know how they managed in that weather, but I’m grateful.
We needed to store part of our household while renovating the property. I made a list of the furniture going into storage. Separated it from the belongings we wanted to keep accessible. This made the unloading arrangements easier to follow and saved us from having to sort everything again later.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. All Directions Van Lines holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
