Read More First I would like to start off by saying the 3 young men that showed up to move me did a good job. However, my problem lies with the owner or whomever is in charge of billing. I believe the guy I spoke to was Mike. I was quoted $185 plus a trip charge. I left a deposit of $185 which would be applied to the move. I moved from Lawrenceville to Winder. I purposely looked for a mover located in Lawrenceville to avoid paying a lot of mileage. The job took 4 1/2 hours exactly. When the move was over I was told I owed an additional $1285. What type of math is that? When I complained and asked for a breakdown I was told I was charged 2 hours for a trip fee because my lead mover came from Marietta. I complained about it since I never agreed to that and Mike knocked it down to $903 left due at end of move. The math still didn’t seem right but and Mike explained I was charged 4.5 hours of moving, a 1 hour trip charge, plus sales tax. I went ahead and paid it because I was exhausted. After I thought about it, I realized that I shouldn’t be charged sales tax on a moving service. So, I text Mike and asked him why I was charged fictional sales tax. He never replied. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
