Read More This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with because it's impossible to communicate with them. And although they say you can do everything online, it's totally opaque especially when it comes to pricing. I waited 2 hours multiple times for a call back, and then was put on hold again after being called back. Beyond frustrating. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would rate them zero if I could.

Read More Placed my order on 27 june for a july 3rd delivery, july 3rd rolls around and i check the website to see when theyre coming to find that my date changed to a delivery date of the 9th of july and a pickup date on the same day, thought it was a computer glitch till i called, im active duty army and dont have many leave days to play with and planned my move around this day, then spent the next 3 hours on the phone(most of it on hold) to find out that theres nothing anyone can do and kept getting thrown to new departments all to get told they dont control anything and that no one really cared. Got told they'd call the distribution center to see when the earliest they could get it to me by, waited another 2 hours and called back and they said theyd still had no response( ofc not its the 3rd of july) and i told them i wanted to cancel and go to pods, waited 40mins on hold and expected the dude to try to offer something to get me to stay but it seems thats the only dude who works and he said he doesnt control when containers are moved and canceled my order in 30 seconds and hung up, would not recommend seeing how they have no care for the fact that some people plan their lives around move dates, i would give 0 stars but it wont let me If you would like to look into my situation my order number was 3017305

Any other company is a better choice than working with these guys. So much time and money gone.

Read More I had a complicated move: four large containers in multiple locations, some containers going to storage, others to our temporary home. We needed help loading our boxes. The container drop-off and pickup occurred exactly when they said they would with professional, proactive communication. The packing labor was on-time and get the job done faster than I thought. I had an extra container I didn't need and was given a rebate. Moving can be stressful: hire Pack-Rat to lessen the load. We're very happy.

No phone calls explaining service failures, no satisfaction, just lies. Extremely sorry I choice Pack Rat over PODS. Will never use again or recommend to anyone!

Read More From the very beginning from speaking with Mrs. Carol Morehead and her help getting me situated for my move from Texas to Virginia has been a Godsend. This was easy and although we did have one hiccup I have nothing bad to say at all. I've got some personal family issues hindering some things pertaining to my move but 1800PackRat has been more than helpful and I'd use them again and refer to anyone. I am grateful for the savings also.

The only issue I had is that I was using my corporate card (direct bill) and had to contact them each month for a copy of the receipt. There should be a way that a copy of the receipt is automatically emailed when the credit card is charged...many other companies do that.

Read More Could not have been more satisfied, especially with the facility manager Anthony we dealt with as well as the driver Nelson. They were both extremely helpful, courteous, and accommodating. We had an issue with the first pod that was delivered and both Anthony and Nelson went above and beyond to correct the problem. Highly recommend 1 800 pack rat and would definitely use again if needed.
