How to dispute a review

By MGM Editorial Team Last updated

If you believe a review breaks our guidelines, you can dispute it from your dashboard or with the Report button on the review.

Good reasons to dispute

  • the reviewer was never your customer;
  • the review is about a different company;
  • it includes threats, hate speech or private information;
  • it’s advertising or spam.

A negative review or a low rating is not a reason to dispute.

What happens next

Our team checks every dispute and may ask the reviewer for proof of the move, such as a booking confirmation, contract, invoice or bill of lading. If they can’t show they used your company, we remove the review. If the review is genuine, it stays published, and you can reply publicly. A moderator usually looks at it within one to three days.

Disputing honest negative reviews again and again is misuse of our platform. Paying us never changes how we handle a dispute.
