X Van Lines didn’t just move my stuff — they made the whole dang process feel easy. From boxes to big furniture, they handled it all like pros. They even helped fix a loose bedframe without me askin’. It’s rare you get folks that give this much care.
My experience was a nightmare. I was on a schedule, I had to be at my new location on Thursday. Pickup was suppose to be Monday morning, then it moved to Tuesday, then Thursday morning, they show up Thursday at 4pm with 2 guys, when I clearly stated they would need at least 4 guys to pick up and 5 or more to unload. It was after midnight when the movers said they were tired and we're going to stop. They didn't finish loading all my stuff. I was charged for 1,500 cubic feet and they only took 1,120 cubic feet of stuff, I measured. I had to rent a uhaul myself to take the rest of my stuff. The movers picked up 301 items and delivered 288 items, they still have, or gave to someone else 13 of my boxes. All of MY items were marked with blue, numbered stickers at pickup, at delivery many of my items now also have a red sticker on them for another person's delivery. How did my items get another persons sticker on them? The company is blaming me, saying my items had these stickers already on them, from a previous mover, I have never used a mover before. I used boxes that were in my attic for over 20 years, boxes I got from work 3 weeks before moving and boxes I got from Amazon 2 days before moving, how did these boxes from different locations, months and decades apart all have the same exact red sticker on them? Also I had a box from the next persons delivery in the same moving truck be given to me by mistake, this box also had the same exact red sticker on it, so someone elses box, had the same sticker I apparently had on my boxes from another state, that I used from a previous move? Impossible. I was originally told my items would be on a 26' truck with no one else's stuff. When asking for updates of where my items were, while waiting for delivery, I was told they were being loaded onto a semi truck. The delivery driver told me he picked my items up from a warehouse and loaded into his 26' truck that morning, and sharing the space with another person's delivery. All things I was told would not happen. The difgerent delivery driver had 2 people from craigslist, meet him for unloading the truck. I asked these very questions when booking. Will my items be on a truck with other people items? No, you will have your own truck. Items will be loaded and driven directly from pickup place to delivery place, no stops. Yet, my items took almost 2 weeks to get to my new location, was unloaded and loaded multiple times and loaded with other peoples stuff. Will the same people that load my items, unload my items? No, the driver will be the same and we have a large number of people that work for our company in every state to unload. Yet, they used craigslist people, not people that work for them. People that don't care about your property. All they did was lie to me. These people are crooks and liars. I have 13 missing boxes, many of my boxes were opened and gone through, I am missing thousands of dollars of stuff. I have thousands of dollars worth of damage to my belongings, and thousands in damage to my new residence. Over $40,000 in damages and missing items. I have picture proof of everything and yet these crooks deny it all, blame it all on me. Many of my boxes were clearly marked "top load only" "top, do not tip" "fragile glass" and these boxes were on the bottom of stacks, on their sides, dropped and had boxes dropped on them, we watched them do it, when we complained to be careful, they were rude to us, telling us they needed to hurry, it was getting late. We'll, when you show up after 3pm with 2 guys to unload when I clearly stated multiple times you would need 5 or more, of course it is getting late. I don't care how long it takes you, I paid for a professional job and yet I got unprofessional and damages to everything. Everything about this company was unprofessional. The non communication for days of me messaging where my items were with no reply, to the upping the price multiple times, to the extreme amount of damage, to them not taking all of my stuff and I had to rent a uhaul myself to get the remaining stuff.
Very grateful and thankful for X Van Lines LLC !! I received a quote no less than 24hrs. Very professional and reasonable services were provided for me. Even with my last minute add on services that were offered and provided. I definitely would use Chap’s Professional Movers again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone whom I know that is in need of any future moving services. They were careful and took their time, and yet, they also didn’t waste any time! Additionally, they were really friendly and upbeat! The moving cruise came as scheduled. They are very professional and organized, well communicated I definitely will use them again and refer to my friends.
Moving day arrived, and the crew came ready with solutions, not just muscle. They anticipated tight corners and stairs. Their route planning alone saved time. Every question I had was met with clear answers. They respected my space and time. That kind of professionalism is rare. Total peace of mind.
I liked how careful they were moving things through the hallway. Instead of forcing furniture through tight spaces they adjusted and took their time. That helped prevent any damage. The move ended up going smoothly.
Recently had a long distance move to Tennessee and cant recommend X Van Lines LLC enough. Worked with Tyler for planning and he was super responsive and helped us all throughout the move. Kevin helped load, drive and unload and was amazing to work with. We had gotten quotes from just about every big moving company in the area and X Van Lines LLC was the best to work with.
Amazing, amazing, amazing service. Courteous gentlemen, wrapped everything well, moved with care, great communication, efficient. Highly recommend! I have used them twice now during an unexpected stressful time and they have made life much easier.
X Van Lines LLC were friendly, timely, communicative, and did an excellent job moving some heavy and unwieldy pieces of furniture through the narrow corridors of my home. Nothing damaged and I was very happy with the care shown to my home and items.
