Crew arrived early. Didn’t waste a second. Light conversation, but mostly worked in silence. Truck filled up before I realized it. They knew where to step and how to lift. Items were treated gently. Delivery was just as focused.
X Van Lines LLC has been a pleasure to work with. Up until the move and even getting all of my moving supplies from them, they have been great. This crew came to our house today and packed us up very quickly and efficiently, as well as packed up our storage unit. They were so nice and easy to work with and priced very well. Looking forward to them helping us settle into our new home tomorrow.
I've moved 16 plus times and I have to say this was my best experience I've ever had with a moving company. Everything was seamless from the video quote to the guys saying goodbye. Movers were helpful, friendly, professional, and respectful. I moved my fiance from a 2nd floor walk up in NYC to Rockland County. I got a call 30 min before arrival. They did a walkthru to confirm everything. They also took the time to point out this we might have overlooked or didn't notice. If I every had to move again their wouldn't be any hesitation to call them again.
• When initially agreeing to use XVan Lines to move my household goods, the total price was $7,800. At the pre-moving conversation, a week prior to the move the price increased to $11,000 and when the movers arrived the price increased to $14,410. • I asked and was re-assured that they would provide a weight ticket, only to have the movers communicate no-one communicated to them to get a weigh ticket. • My house move-in date changed from the initial date. When I communicated the change of delivery date to XVan Lines, I was assured this would not be a problem. Then I was called a week prior to the initial delivery date saying the goods were set to be dropped off and told from XVan lines no one had record of my communication with them about the change in date, even though I was assured multiple times from employees that the change in delivery date would be no problem. • Multiple items were severely damaged on the move, such as my dryer which the top was disconnected from the dryer; dining room table which we cannot use the leaf or extend the table due to the damage; along with many other items. When providing all documentation for damages and compensation, the company offered to pay $75.00. • When attempting to communicate with Xan Line representatives, I would consistently be told I would receive calls back but constantly would not get a call or communication back. I asked to talk with managers about my experiences but would not get a contact back. When asking representatives why they didn’t call me back, often the responses were that they were busy or sorry that they had forgot. I have 8 different documented instances where I was either hung up on or did not receive a phone call back from the company.
I had a fantastic experience with this moving company! Barry and James were absolutely amazing—arrived early, were extremely professional, and brought such a positive and friendly attitude throughout the entire move. They took great care with all of my belongings, carefully wrapping everything and handling it with care. They also disassembled and reassembled my bed and furniture with no issues at all—it was seamless. The whole process felt stress-free and efficient. I highly recommend this team and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
When I met with Jay, he simply left a more confident and can do attitude than the other companies. During our move, we did experience a fairly big hiccup, but Jay was right there as he said from the beginning - and he stayed until everything was complete and done like he promised. Knowing X Van Lines LLC has Jay Dempsey on their team, I cannot recommend them highly enough! In short, Jay saved our move and held true to his word, which is extremely rare in today’s world…especially the not so heavily regulated moving industry. If you need to move - get with Jay, he will give you the up front and honest truth…and be there till the end!!!! Thank you Jay for everything!!!
Our experience with X Van Lines LLC was nothing but the best. We shopped price over the phone & found them to be very competitive. The estimate given was very accurate. The two men assigned to us worked consistently & were very professional. On top of that they were complete gentlemen & were quality people. They are the kind of men that you had no worries about having them around my family. Good men. Good company. Very good experience for our family.
I don’t know how these guys do this! Everything wrapped and handled with care. Same crew moved us in and could not have done a nicer job accommodating us on where to put stuff. Super super job!!would never use a different service
