I can’t say enough good things about this company. The staff was exceptional, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of guys. They made the move as easy as they could for me, there were no issues, they were so kind and comforting, truly went above and beyond. They loaded my belongings with care, had a great attitude, very thorough and efficient, double checked nothing was left behind, all while being engaging and thoughtful. I have had traumatic moving experiences in the past so I am so thankful I finally found one with integrity. I cannot recommend them enough, I was so pleased with this experience. We relocated to be closer to public transportation, and the movers made the transition easy. They efficiently packed our apartment and moved everything to our new home near the subway. I was impressed by how they handled the congested streets and bustling neighborhood. They were swift, careful, and unloaded everything without difficulty. Moving into a crowded metropolis has never been easier!
The best part about this move was how stress-free it felt. The crew didn’t complain about the heavy lifting or stairs. They just got the job done with a smile. That’s rare these days. Five out of five.
The company was easy to work with, with various points of contact and flexibility when we had to adjust our plans. We used them for both moving our household items, as well as our truck and both experiences were handled professionally and our items arrived safely and undamaged.
Would love to work with them again. We did have some issues with the company however with a smaller truck being provided then was needed as well as the truck breaking down, which we’ve heard is not abnormal for this company. The sales team we believe should work better with the movers and the realities that are occurring during move days. Can’t recommend Seth and Paul, our movers, enough though!
Just an excellent experience! This is a small operation, but the guys really know how to get the job done. David was a pleasure to work with, very efficient getting the move scheduled Sadly, we were kinda disorganized and underestimated how much stuff we needed to move. But the crew was patient and kind, and helped us get our act together. They stayed late into the evening and did everything we asked. Great attitude, very professional. They worked hard!!! Because we underestimated, David had to adjust the fee. But the increase was reasonable, and he called us twice during the day to make sure we were happy. I'm so glad we chose X Van Lines LLC
IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Predatory service so bad I felt like we were just scammed. Booked a "full service" moving package with them, which was fulfilled by JVA transportation. Doubled the price 5 days before the booked date. When they packed boxes, they were half-full at best (one example: 3 suit jackets in one medium box). Had to stop and redirect them to do real work. Then, our space/box limit was used up almost immediately, so, if we wanted the rest of the work done, there was going to be an additional charge. They didn't even touch the kitchen. We ultimately had to rent a 10' UHaul and come back to complete the job. We should have just packed ourselves and used Two Men And A Truck. I could not have been more upset with the service we received.
