Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, extremely hard working, didn't balk about moving arcade style pinball machine, regulation air hockey table, oversized massage chair, or big stereo. Everyone knew exactly what to do when. It was like watching an orchestra. Would use them again!! 7 guys, 2 trucks, 1 exhausting day. Thanks, guys!
What a terrible experience. I was given an estimate. It was fair. Then the ugly started. Five days before the pickup my estimate was raised substantially. I removed a few things from the original estimate. And added a few things. The cubic feet only increased by about 25 cf. My estimate increased over $1500…. On their website they have a big X VanLines truck. Drivers with X VanLines t-shirts. I got a random truck. And random drivers. They refused to show me identification. They refused to show me their license to drive a truck. They were late, rude, and mean. The police were eventually called. They had all of my worldly possessions. It was incredibly stressful and scary. The delivery wasn’t much better. The driver had an awful attitude. X VanLines “Flat Pricing” and “No Hidden Surprises. Ever.” is a joke. Literally every part of this move was a surprise. The price increase. The location of my belongings. When I was going to receive my belongings. Who the people were that had my belongings. Please don’t hire this company. I have never been treated like this in my life. And please pass this on to friends and family.
What impressed me most was their positive attitude, attention to detail, and how smoothly they made the whole process feel. They arrived ready to work, stayed focused, and got everything moved safely and quickly. It’s rare to find a moving company that actually CARES about your belongings! These movers treated my furniture like their own, ensuring everything was protected and arrived safely! They even took time to check with me before placing each piece in my new home! Unbelievable attention to detail!
They sent four hardworking movers and a big truck, and even though we had way more stuff than expected (it ended up taking two trips), they handled everything professionally and with great care. The team stayed positive, worked efficiently, and made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and manageable. Relocating to a larger apartment in the same city was an exciting but overwhelming task. The moving crew showed up right on time and immediately started packing up the home. They took extra care with fragile items and were very respectful of both the old and new properties. They worked quickly but never rushed, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Everything arrived safely, and they even helped me organize some of the boxes inside the new apartment.
The movers were awesome! In spite of the very cold whether they were still very efficient, communicative, and courteous. Customer Service was excellent as well. I was having a bit of stress getting my new home ready and preparing to move. My brother recommended Great Movers as they did an excellent job with his move a while back. He told me that the least stressful part will be the actual moving with the movers and he was so right. I highly recommend using this company.
This move was my first with a professional crew, and WOW—I’ll never go back. The guys were courteous, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. They asked me where I wanted everything and didn’t leave until I was happy. That level of care is unmatched. Truly five-star service.
Their follow up calls and process in general left no room for error! Their furniture donation was also very helpful! My husband and I were so grateful to have the help and we were genuinely impressed! We will definitely recommend to friends in the area!
