Great moving experience overall. From the packing to unloading, they were super organized and careful with my items. Worth every penny for a smooth move.
Avoid this company at all costs... 1- We paid for premium packing and they did not provide protection for most of the items they box 2- We paid for 4 wardrobe boxes. got 2... and they didn't hang any clothes. They tossed all the clothes... suits, dresses, shoes in a box 3- Broke the screen on a 80 inch tv 4- Put a huge dent in both the washer and the dryer... Removing he enamel. 5- Did not deliver items such as a ladder, and a game system 6- Put a cast iron skillet on top of glassware 7 - Told us they could not get the truck on the street, so they needed to off load on another truck and charged us another $3800. 8- They only take cash... While they say they will take Zelle, it has a cap of $2500.. They say they will take a money order from the post office, but you don't know the amount until they arrive. We paid in total 13K for a move that took 3 hours to box/pack and 2 hours to unload. Almost zero furniture. I have moved professionally 5 times and this was an absolute joke. These people will destroy your items and hold your items hostage until you pay them, in cash.
What really stood out was their professionalism and kindness from the moment they arrived. The entire team introduced themselves individually and shook my hand, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident we were in great hands. Juan was especially wonderful. He was professional, organized, hardworking, and genuinely kind throughout the entire move. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Managing a large move was daunting, but X Van Lines made it feel effortless. Their team mapped out a clear plan from the start. Delicate antiques were given special care without being reminded. Heavy lifting was done safely and quickly. They kept me updated without me needing to chase them. It all ran smoother than I hoped!
I had an incredible experience with my mover, Mihajlo. He was absolutely fantastic — fast, efficient, and extremely hardworking. I’ve honestly never seen anyone move this quickly while still being so careful and professional. He handled everything with care and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Mihajlo to anyone who wants a move done right and done fast!

Joao, Cesar, and Gabriel did so well helping move ALL of my stuff from my place in Rockville to Columbia. They were so quick, and polite! They had great energy the whole time even though it was a long process. Reliability goes a long way and I will definitely be calling them again in the future. They even set up my furniture and helped me figure out what pieces looked good/ made the most sense in the space and where. Please use them as your moving services!!
X Van Lines LLC was fantastic from start to finish. They were completely up front with their charges and gave me a maximum out of pocket, which they didn't reach. They were careful with all our stuff. They packed everything meticulously for us. And then they were great about putting everything exactly where we wanted. I have moved many many times throughout my life and X Van Lines LLC was the absolute best experience I've ever had.
IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Predatory service so bad I felt like we were just scammed. Booked a "full service" moving package with them, which was fulfilled by JVA transportation. Doubled the price 5 days before the booked date. When they packed boxes, they were half-full at best (one example: 3 suit jackets in one medium box). Had to stop and redirect them to do real work. Then, our space/box limit was used up almost immediately, so, if we wanted the rest of the work done, there was going to be an additional charge. They didn't even touch the kitchen. We ultimately had to rent a 10' UHaul and come back to complete the job. We should have just packed ourselves and used Two Men And A Truck. I could not have been more upset with the service we received.
After searching for my first ever interstate moving company on the Internet I came across X Van Lines LLC. Where they weren’t the least expensive they do have have a national reputation placing them among the top five movers in the USA. My wife was concern that we weren’t home at for the pickup. We entrusted that aspect of the move to her and she is as critical as can be. My daughter shared with us that the men were very professional and took great care with all of our belongings. She stated that she would definitely recommend X Van Lines LLC to her friends and work colleagues. On the receiving end the delivery went flawlessly, they arrived on time and placed everything where directed. We would definitely use X Van Lines LLC at the Long Island, NY location again and will recommend them to friends and family.
