I am beyond please with the three movers that made my moving day the best possible experience. They were kind, patient, thorough, and organized. I will definitely use them again in the future.
The kids were staying with their grandma while we were trying to calm down a very borky Great Pyrenees diva and a very stressed Mr. Cat. To top it off, on the day of the move the valve broke when I went to disconnect our washer. Then when I went to replace the valve, thd copper pipe broke. 5 trips to Lowes and a call to an emergency plumber later, these guys had finished disassembling and packing up our entire house without water to use the bathroom in the time it took for me to admit defeat. Then when the plumber showed up to the house while we were unpacking the truck into the storage unit, they were very understanding and let me run home to approve the work since their (the plumber's) estimate wouldn't seem to load in the app. By the time I got back, they had Tetris'd my entire home into a 10 x 30 storage unit. They took a very stressful move (and even more stressful day), and made it feel like a success story. I WILL be using X Van Lines LLC when we decide to move our household goods out of storage.

The moving team arrived right on time and were just as friendly and professional as David. They took great care wrapping all of our expensive furniture, which gave us total peace of mind that everything would arrive safely. Once we got to our new home, they reassembled everything quickly and made the entire process feel effortless.
Their follow up calls and process in general left no room for error! Their furniture donation was also very helpful! My husband and I were so grateful to have the help and we were genuinely impressed! We will definitely recommend to friends in the area!
The morning started hectic, but X Van Lines instantly brought calm to the situation. They packed the last few items I hadn’t gotten to, wrapped every chair and table, and kept checking in to make sure I was happy. It felt less like hiring strangers and more like having friends help me out.
Despite the distance between Oakland and Santa Barbara, they managed the logistics smoothly over the two-day period, keeping us informed every step of the way. I would absolutely recommend X Van Lines LLC, and specifically request Mauricio and Victor if possible. Their attention to detail, respectful manner, and careful handling of our possessions made what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Predatory service so bad I felt like we were just scammed. Booked a "full service" moving package with them, which was fulfilled by JVA transportation. Doubled the price 5 days before the booked date. When they packed boxes, they were half-full at best (one example: 3 suit jackets in one medium box). Had to stop and redirect them to do real work. Then, our space/box limit was used up almost immediately, so, if we wanted the rest of the work done, there was going to be an additional charge. They didn't even touch the kitchen. We ultimately had to rent a 10' UHaul and come back to complete the job. We should have just packed ourselves and used Two Men And A Truck. I could not have been more upset with the service we received.
I’ve worked with movers before, but never like this. They handled my fragile antiques and large furniture with precision. They moved quickly without rushing anything. The truck was packed so efficiently, not even a rattle on the road. No issues with timing or setup. This company knows what they’re doing.
