I cancelled on the third day after putting down a deposit. They never returned the deposit. They contractually said they would.
My elderly neighbor watched from her porch and said, “You found good people.” She was right. They waved, smiled, and even offered to help her move her bin. It’s small, but it said everything about their character. Good people indeed.
What a terrible experience. I was given an estimate. It was fair. Then the ugly started. Five days before the pickup my estimate was raised substantially. I removed a few things from the original estimate. And added a few things. The cubic feet only increased by about 25 cf. My estimate increased over $1500…. On their website they have a big X VanLines truck. Drivers with X VanLines t-shirts. I got a random truck. And random drivers. They refused to show me identification. They refused to show me their license to drive a truck. They were late, rude, and mean. The police were eventually called. They had all of my worldly possessions. It was incredibly stressful and scary. The delivery wasn’t much better. The driver had an awful attitude. X VanLines “Flat Pricing” and “No Hidden Surprises. Ever.” is a joke. Literally every part of this move was a surprise. The price increase. The location of my belongings. When I was going to receive my belongings. Who the people were that had my belongings. Please don’t hire this company. I have never been treated like this in my life. And please pass this on to friends and family.
I had an incredible moving experience! The team worked tirelessly, ensuring everything was packed securely and handled with care. Their communication was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way. They turned a stressful day into a pleasant one!
Avoid this company at all costs... 1- We paid for premium packing and they did not provide protection for most of the items they box 2- We paid for 4 wardrobe boxes. got 2... and they didn't hang any clothes. They tossed all the clothes... suits, dresses, shoes in a box 3- Broke the screen on a 80 inch tv 4- Put a huge dent in both the washer and the dryer... Removing he enamel. 5- Did not deliver items such as a ladder, and a game system 6- Put a cast iron skillet on top of glassware 7 - Told us they could not get the truck on the street, so they needed to off load on another truck and charged us another $3800. 8- They only take cash... While they say they will take Zelle, it has a cap of $2500.. They say they will take a money order from the post office, but you don't know the amount until they arrive. We paid in total 13K for a move that took 3 hours to box/pack and 2 hours to unload. Almost zero furniture. I have moved professionally 5 times and this was an absolute joke. These people will destroy your items and hold your items hostage until you pay them, in cash.

Leaving a shared house to have my own place was a major deal, but the movers made it simple. They were respectful of the shared spaces and did not bother my housemates. Everything was packed and moved without any problems. They even helped me swiftly settle into my new place. I couldn't have had a better experience!

Many, many thanks to Nolan and his crew. They were professional, friendly, patient and oh-so-helpful with my Mom. They were incredibly efficient and moved not only my my Mom's items but items from her house to my place including a jukebox and grandfather clock - no small feat! X Van Lines LLC team showed up on time and did a great job. We had to empty our home and move everything to our garage in order to retrofit sprinklers to home. They worked fast and protected our furniture and all doorways. Much more than I expected!
