When I met with Jay, he simply left a more confident and can do attitude than the other companies. During our move, we did experience a fairly big hiccup, but Jay was right there as he said from the beginning - and he stayed until everything was complete and done like he promised. Knowing X Van Lines LLC has Jay Dempsey on their team, I cannot recommend them highly enough! In short, Jay saved our move and held true to his word, which is extremely rare in today’s world…especially the not so heavily regulated moving industry. The move required transporting a lot of valuable electronics, including a home theater setup and multiple monitors. The movers took great care in packing these sensitive items, using specialized padding and labeling fragile boxes clearly. Everything arrived in perfect condition.
They treated me as if I was their family getting ready to make this big move - they repeatedly calmed my fears about this whole process. Richie was a Tetris master fitting all of my worldly possessions into the POD. Richard and Guillermo took great pride in protecting all of my things before they were loaded up. They were all a delight to work with - we had fun! The quote was not only reasonable but was exactly the same that I paid at the end of the service. No surprises at the end. I would recommend X Van Lines LLC over and over again!
Yeah....it's a no for me!! Called for a quote, then I was asked what other prices have I gotten, WHAT AM I COMFORTABLE PAYING, does putting some things in storage make financial sense, why am I leaving things in 1 state when I'm moving to another.....then the person hung up on me because I'm sure he could sense I wasn't about to be interrogated about a decision I'd made. I called for a quote, not life advice.
