X Van Lines saved us when another company ghosted. I called in a panic, and they were at our door the next morning. No guilt trips, no eye rolls. Just solid work and kindness. Everything moved on time and intact. What started as a nightmare turned into a blessing. HEROES!
they went over my quote in detail with me at the start so that I had a very good understanding of what the move would cost beforehand, and they were very accommodating when I asked to add some extra items to my move only a few days before. On the day of, the whole crew was really helpful, very communicative, and extremely professional. It all got done 1.5 hours faster than anticipated, and everything arrived in pristine condition. They were also very up front about what sort of protections my items and space needed and were honest about what I didn't need, so I wasnt upsold unnecessarily. The company also checked in with me multiple times during the move to make sure all was going smoothly, which it was! I would absolutely recommend them and will be using them for future moves. :)
Would love to work with them again. We did have some issues with the company however with a smaller truck being provided then was needed as well as the truck breaking down, which we’ve heard is not abnormal for this company. The sales team we believe should work better with the movers and the realities that are occurring during move days. Can’t recommend Seth and Paul, our movers, enough though!
Booking was easy and transparent. The team called ahead to confirm arrival. I loved how neatly they arranged everything in the truck. My antique furniture arrived flawless. I could tell they had experience handling delicate items. The entire move was well-planned. Will definitely use them again.

This was our first time hiring movers! 10/10 recommend hiring movers and X Van Lines LLC is the best! I called so many different moving companies, thunder moving was the best price and their team was amazing! We had Brandon and Leo, they were quick and hard workers! They loaded the truck with great work! They asked questions to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and did everything with a smile on their faces even in the brutal heat! They’re also extremely responsive with respect to providing COI’s and updating inventory even up until the night before. My move was done in 1 day, and the quote I received from intense movers was SUBSTANTIALLY less than other movers. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and this is definitely the way to go for any NYC move!
