When I walked into my new place, everything was exactly where I wanted it. The labeling system made unpacking easier than I ever imagined. The crew double-checked room placements and handled every piece gently. No item was too big or small to matter. They made sure all the delicate stuff was secured properly. It was such a smooth ride from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving day.
The day I moved LA had rare torrential rain, but you wouldn't know it was unpleasant because the guys all kept it light hearted and there was plenty of laughter too. Thank you to Jairo, Kevin and Elizar for an easy, quick and professional move!
Upon arrival the movers were on time and friendly. They immediately got to work professionally disassembling and wrapping all of my furniture in wraps and cloth. They literally rolled out a red carpet so that they don't track dirt in and out of the home (pictured). Ultimately I had a great experience in the move! None of my furniture was damaged and was placed in pristine condition in my new home. We finished at the quoted time and came in at the bottom of the quoted range for cost. I spoke with Nikki afterwards and she was able to support me during and after the move with the highest level of customer experience I have experienced with a moving company. Moving our home workshop with all its heavy tools and machines was done efficiently. The movers used the right equipment and packed everything safely. All tools arrived in perfect condition, and nothing was misplaced or damaged.
I never thought moving could actually be enjoyable, but this team proved me wrong! From the moment they arrived, they worked with great energy and enthusiasm. Every box was labeled and placed exactly where it needed to be. They wrapped all my furniture securely, preventing any damage. The entire process felt well-organized and stress-free. I barely had to lift a finger, and everything was done perfectly. A truly top-tier moving experience!
What a terrible experience. I was given an estimate. It was fair. Then the ugly started. Five days before the pickup my estimate was raised substantially. I removed a few things from the original estimate. And added a few things. The cubic feet only increased by about 25 cf. My estimate increased over $1500…. On their website they have a big X VanLines truck. Drivers with X VanLines t-shirts. I got a random truck. And random drivers. They refused to show me identification. They refused to show me their license to drive a truck. They were late, rude, and mean. The police were eventually called. They had all of my worldly possessions. It was incredibly stressful and scary. The delivery wasn’t much better. The driver had an awful attitude. X VanLines “Flat Pricing” and “No Hidden Surprises. Ever.” is a joke. Literally every part of this move was a surprise. The price increase. The location of my belongings. When I was going to receive my belongings. Who the people were that had my belongings. Please don’t hire this company. I have never been treated like this in my life. And please pass this on to friends and family.
