X Van Lines LLC is outstanding! I booked a senior move for my mom who was downsizing from a house to a senior's apartment which was a stressful time for her. From start to finish, Mom and I were both so impressed with the service. Starting with Graham providing us with an estimate and walking us through the process of what to expect, to the confirmation of details the day before, down to the day of the move - the entire process went smoothly and couldn't have been any better. Many, many thanks to Nolan and his crew. They were professional, friendly, patient and oh-so-helpful with my Mom. They were incredibly efficient and moved not only my my Mom's items but items from her house to my place including a jukebox and grandfather clock - no small feat! I can add to this crowded 5 star review. Haven’t seen people who worked so hard with care for so long. We had 3 strapping men came to take a lot of furniture from a 2 story home and moved them to 3 other homes all over the Bay Area. They were thorough, mindful of the walls and floor, took beds and cabinets apart at one location and put together at the next. It was a joy to watch. All done with grunts and smiles. Minimal English needed.
The best part about this move was how stress-free it felt. The crew didn’t complain about the heavy lifting or stairs. They just got the job done with a smile. That’s rare these days. Five out of five.

• When initially agreeing to use XVan Lines to move my household goods, the total price was $7,800. At the pre-moving conversation, a week prior to the move the price increased to $11,000 and when the movers arrived the price increased to $14,410. • I asked and was re-assured that they would provide a weight ticket, only to have the movers communicate no-one communicated to them to get a weigh ticket. • My house move-in date changed from the initial date. When I communicated the change of delivery date to XVan Lines, I was assured this would not be a problem. Then I was called a week prior to the initial delivery date saying the goods were set to be dropped off and told from XVan lines no one had record of my communication with them about the change in date, even though I was assured multiple times from employees that the change in delivery date would be no problem. • Multiple items were severely damaged on the move, such as my dryer which the top was disconnected from the dryer; dining room table which we cannot use the leaf or extend the table due to the damage; along with many other items. When providing all documentation for damages and compensation, the company offered to pay $75.00. • When attempting to communicate with Xan Line representatives, I would consistently be told I would receive calls back but constantly would not get a call or communication back. I asked to talk with managers about my experiences but would not get a contact back. When asking representatives why they didn’t call me back, often the responses were that they were busy or sorry that they had forgot. I have 8 different documented instances where I was either hung up on or did not receive a phone call back from the company.
My elderly neighbor watched from her porch and said, “You found good people.” She was right. They waved, smiled, and even offered to help her move her bin. It’s small, but it said everything about their character. Good people indeed.
