The crew noticed my bookshelf was loose and fixed the hinges on the spot before loading it. I didn’t even know it was broken. That level of observation and initiative made a huge difference. Most movers would’ve just hauled it without a second thought. These guys treated every piece like their own.
What a terrible experience. I was given an estimate. It was fair. Then the ugly started. Five days before the pickup my estimate was raised substantially. I removed a few things from the original estimate. And added a few things. The cubic feet only increased by about 25 cf. My estimate increased over $1500…. On their website they have a big X VanLines truck. Drivers with X VanLines t-shirts. I got a random truck. And random drivers. They refused to show me identification. They refused to show me their license to drive a truck. They were late, rude, and mean. The police were eventually called. They had all of my worldly possessions. It was incredibly stressful and scary. The delivery wasn’t much better. The driver had an awful attitude. X VanLines “Flat Pricing” and “No Hidden Surprises. Ever.” is a joke. Literally every part of this move was a surprise. The price increase. The location of my belongings. When I was going to receive my belongings. Who the people were that had my belongings. Please don’t hire this company. I have never been treated like this in my life. And please pass this on to friends and family.
IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Predatory service so bad I felt like we were just scammed. Booked a "full service" moving package with them, which was fulfilled by JVA transportation. Doubled the price 5 days before the booked date. When they packed boxes, they were half-full at best (one example: 3 suit jackets in one medium box). Had to stop and redirect them to do real work. Then, our space/box limit was used up almost immediately, so, if we wanted the rest of the work done, there was going to be an additional charge. They didn't even touch the kitchen. We ultimately had to rent a 10' UHaul and come back to complete the job. We should have just packed ourselves and used Two Men And A Truck. I could not have been more upset with the service we received.
I am so grateful we chose this company. They made what could have been a very stressful situation completely smooth and stress free from start to finish. I will absolutely be recommending X Van Lines LLC to all of my clients.

Let me tell you—this crew meant BUSINESS. They had a rhythm that never broke. Sofa, chairs, shelves—everything wrapped with care. They even helped adjust furniture placement. Very accommodating and respectful. The quality and pace were unreal. BRAVO!

My move ended up taking longer than expected, but the team worked so hard, wrapped everything perfectly, and made sure every piece was placed exactly where I wanted it in my new home. They were kind, professional, and never made me feel rushed or like the job was too much. I didn’t feel overcharged or taken advantage of — just genuinely cared for. Today Chris, Richard, Luis , Ivan and Martin helped Any Hour Services move out of our 5000 square-foot building into our new 20,000 square-foot building. These guys were awesome professionals and hard workers. They were nonstop. All of them were very respectful. Martin made the experience a positive and fun one. Highly recommend these guys.
