I couldn’t be more PLEASED with how well this move went! The movers showed professionalism and skill with every box and piece of furniture. They made sure nothing shifted during transport. The teamwork between them was OUTSTANDING. Everything was completed on schedule too. Absolutely FIVE STARS in my book!
The movers worked quickly but always with caution. I felt like my things were in good hands the entire time. Fragile pieces were handled perfectly. Heavy furniture was moved without a scratch. The delivery was smooth and exactly on time. I’d recommend them to anyone.
They had a team of 5 movers working on my 2-bedroom apartment, and the entire process felt incredibly organized from start to finish. They disassembled all of my furniture, carefully packed my fragile items, and moved everything seamlessly into my new place.
Every call, text, and email was answered promptly. No waiting, no confusion—just clear, kind communication. From quote to final box, it felt like I had a real partner. The team showed up on time, ready to go. They checked in throughout the day, asking for preferences. It was such a thoughtful way to do business. I felt respected the entire time.
Avoid this company at all costs... 1- We paid for premium packing and they did not provide protection for most of the items they box 2- We paid for 4 wardrobe boxes. got 2... and they didn't hang any clothes. They tossed all the clothes... suits, dresses, shoes in a box 3- Broke the screen on a 80 inch tv 4- Put a huge dent in both the washer and the dryer... Removing he enamel. 5- Did not deliver items such as a ladder, and a game system 6- Put a cast iron skillet on top of glassware 7 - Told us they could not get the truck on the street, so they needed to off load on another truck and charged us another $3800. 8- They only take cash... While they say they will take Zelle, it has a cap of $2500.. They say they will take a money order from the post office, but you don't know the amount until they arrive. We paid in total 13K for a move that took 3 hours to box/pack and 2 hours to unload. Almost zero furniture. I have moved professionally 5 times and this was an absolute joke. These people will destroy your items and hold your items hostage until you pay them, in cash.
The crew worked tirelessly and handled our belongings with great care and respect. It was clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. I've moved 16 plus times and I have to say this was my best experience I've ever had with a moving company. Everything was seamless from the video quote to the guys saying goodbye. Movers were helpful, friendly, professional, and respectful. I moved my fiance from a 2nd floor walk up in NYC to Rockland County. I got a call 30 min before arrival. They did a walkthru to confirm everything. They also took the time to point out this we might have overlooked or didn't notice. If I every had to move again their wouldn't be any hesitation to call them again.
X Van Lines saved us when another company ghosted. I called in a panic, and they were at our door the next morning. No guilt trips, no eye rolls. Just solid work and kindness. Everything moved on time and intact. What started as a nightmare turned into a blessing. HEROES!
