Adrian Marco and Javier were on time and communicated well with us.. they took time in protecting our furniture and transported it with care! They were conscientious of time, but did not hurry to complete the job haphazardly! Yeah....it's a no for me!! Called for a quote, then I was asked what other prices have I gotten, WHAT AM I COMFORTABLE PAYING, does putting some things in storage make financial sense, why am I leaving things in 1 state when I'm moving to another.....then the person hung up on me because I'm sure he could sense I wasn't about to be interrogated about a decision I'd made. I called for a quote, not life advice.
I can add to this crowded 5 star review. Haven’t seen people who worked so hard with care for so long. We had 3 strapping men came to take a lot of furniture from a 2 story home and moved them to 3 other homes all over the Bay Area. They were thorough, mindful of the walls and floor, took beds and cabinets apart at one location and put together at the next. It was a joy to watch. All done with grunts and smiles. Minimal English needed.
The quote was very reasonable. Andrew the GM communicated before the move to ensure we were all on the same page and made me feel at ease. Jamon and Darian were absolutely outstanding and took great care but worked very hard to get things packed and moved! They were personable, professional, and very helpful! Definitely recommend and use again! Thank you!
What stood out to me most was how communicative the movers were. They kept me in the loop at every step. Even the heaviest furniture was moved without complaint or damage. Absolutely the best movers in the area. From start to finish, the team showed real professionalism and confidence. On pack-up day, the crew worked efficiently and clearly knew exactly how to handle every part of the process, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. When I arrived at my new home, every box and piece of glass was in perfect condition—not a single item damaged. Their care, communication, and skill made the entire move far less stressful, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
X Van Lines didn’t just move my stuff — they made the whole dang process feel easy. From boxes to big furniture, they handled it all like pros. They even helped fix a loose bedframe without me askin’. It’s rare you get folks that give this much care.
2 men came to help and did an outstanding job. I book for the late afternoon so i knew they were gonna be tired from the morning move. The still did a great job - I pre-labeled everything with color post-its for each room and they just put everything where it was suppose to be. They wrapped up all fragile furniture and made sure that nothing would get damaged. They had to move things down a flight or stairs and then back up a flight. Make sure to have some bottle waters for them in the fridge as your cups will be packed.
