X Van Lines LLC is outstanding! I booked a senior move for my mom who was downsizing from a house to a senior's apartment which was a stressful time for her. From start to finish, Mom and I were both so impressed with the service. Starting with Graham providing us with an estimate and walking us through the process of what to expect, to the confirmation of details the day before, down to the day of the move - the entire process went smoothly and couldn't have been any better. Many, many thanks to Nolan and his crew. They were professional, friendly, patient and oh-so-helpful with my Mom. They were incredibly efficient and moved not only my my Mom's items but items from her house to my place including a jukebox and grandfather clock - no small feat! We had a quick turnaround commercial job that we had to manage remotely. The team did a fantastic job and our client was extremely happy with the outcome. George did a fantastic job setting everything up for success and Robert the onsite Team Lead made sure everything was executed flawlessly—the team worked hard! They were on time and communication with us was on point! Again, highly recommend!
Fantastic service! The team was on time, efficient, helpful, kind, and enjoyable to work with. They look an hour less time than I thought, brought their own tools and helped me take things out of the walls, hooked up my washer for me, asked me to confirm where everything goes, and nothing ended up broken. I am a single lady and I also really appreciated that no one made me feel uncomfortable. Everyone was friendly, conversational, and had a great attitude the whole move.
The movers, however, tackled each piece with determination and a can-do attitude. These movers were lifesavers during a last-minute move.
They packed up with incredible care--even finding and returning a pair of earrings I had misplaced--and were both thorough and so speedy! I was particularly impressed by the level of communication and customer service throughout the process. I had multiple points of contact checking in with me and sharing schedule updates (even though they were always exactly on time). I cannot recommend them highly enough!
My experience was a nightmare. I was on a schedule, I had to be at my new location on Thursday. Pickup was suppose to be Monday morning, then it moved to Tuesday, then Thursday morning, they show up Thursday at 4pm with 2 guys, when I clearly stated they would need at least 4 guys to pick up and 5 or more to unload. It was after midnight when the movers said they were tired and we're going to stop. They didn't finish loading all my stuff. I was charged for 1,500 cubic feet and they only took 1,120 cubic feet of stuff, I measured. I had to rent a uhaul myself to take the rest of my stuff. The movers picked up 301 items and delivered 288 items, they still have, or gave to someone else 13 of my boxes. All of MY items were marked with blue, numbered stickers at pickup, at delivery many of my items now also have a red sticker on them for another person's delivery. How did my items get another persons sticker on them? The company is blaming me, saying my items had these stickers already on them, from a previous mover, I have never used a mover before. I used boxes that were in my attic for over 20 years, boxes I got from work 3 weeks before moving and boxes I got from Amazon 2 days before moving, how did these boxes from different locations, months and decades apart all have the same exact red sticker on them? Also I had a box from the next persons delivery in the same moving truck be given to me by mistake, this box also had the same exact red sticker on it, so someone elses box, had the same sticker I apparently had on my boxes from another state, that I used from a previous move? Impossible. I was originally told my items would be on a 26' truck with no one else's stuff. When asking for updates of where my items were, while waiting for delivery, I was told they were being loaded onto a semi truck. The delivery driver told me he picked my items up from a warehouse and loaded into his 26' truck that morning, and sharing the space with another person's delivery. All things I was told would not happen. The difgerent delivery driver had 2 people from craigslist, meet him for unloading the truck. I asked these very questions when booking. Will my items be on a truck with other people items? No, you will have your own truck. Items will be loaded and driven directly from pickup place to delivery place, no stops. Yet, my items took almost 2 weeks to get to my new location, was unloaded and loaded multiple times and loaded with other peoples stuff. Will the same people that load my items, unload my items? No, the driver will be the same and we have a large number of people that work for our company in every state to unload. Yet, they used craigslist people, not people that work for them. People that don't care about your property. All they did was lie to me. These people are crooks and liars. I have 13 missing boxes, many of my boxes were opened and gone through, I am missing thousands of dollars of stuff. I have thousands of dollars worth of damage to my belongings, and thousands in damage to my new residence. Over $40,000 in damages and missing items. I have picture proof of everything and yet these crooks deny it all, blame it all on me. Many of my boxes were clearly marked "top load only" "top, do not tip" "fragile glass" and these boxes were on the bottom of stacks, on their sides, dropped and had boxes dropped on them, we watched them do it, when we complained to be careful, they were rude to us, telling us they needed to hurry, it was getting late. We'll, when you show up after 3pm with 2 guys to unload when I clearly stated multiple times you would need 5 or more, of course it is getting late. I don't care how long it takes you, I paid for a professional job and yet I got unprofessional and damages to everything. Everything about this company was unprofessional. The non communication for days of me messaging where my items were with no reply, to the upping the price multiple times, to the extreme amount of damage, to them not taking all of my stuff and I had to rent a uhaul myself to get the remaining stuff.
Charged my parents most 12,000 to do a full pack and move from Florida to Tennessee. My mom told them all the stuff they had and he said they were sending a 26fr truck. My mom said they will not be enough i have moved several times. The guy argued with her saying he was the professional and she was not. She tried several times before the day to talk to them and the sales guy to confirm everything and the sales guy supposedly don’t work there any more. Then day of move they don’t arrive until after 12 with 2 men to full pack and move a 4 bedroom house. 26ft truck and they pack horribly broke the washer by shearing off the hose. Broke off the thermostat off the wall and several other items. They did not get everything on the truck or packed at the house. They demand cash or Zelle of 3800 upon arrival in TN they refused to drive up the driveway unless cash in hand. I had to get the cash for them because they don’t bank here yet nor do they do Zelle. Brought 2 more guys to unload and paid them $60 each to do it they hired them off the street in Huntsville al. Now that they have their money customer service is not talking to them anymore. It’s time for a lawyer. I have now read so many complaints here, google, Reddit of the same song and dance. Every single detail! My parents had to rent another 26 ft truck head back down to Florida and pack the rest, load it and drive it back here paying more money now. Contract they give you is a joke!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This company was fantastic to work with. I called 3 other companies and this one was the only one who personally came out to our house for a quote. The crew was absolutely amazing. All of them were so personable and handled our stuff with such care. Hopefully I won't be moving anytime soon, but I would definitely hire them again.
