If I could give zero stars, I would.
This was hands-down the most stressful, unethical, and destabilizing moving experience I have ever had. From start to finish, this company relied on a bait-and-switch model, poor communication, and coercive tactics that left us feeling powerless and unsafe.
We were quoted one price and scope of work, only to be told on moving day that multiple “required” services were somehow not included—services that were clearly discussed during the booking process. Once our belongings were on their truck, the tone shifted completely.
We were very clear about our delivery needs and planned paid organizers around a specific timeframe. That timeframe was ignored. Days passed with no updates, no tracking information, and no accountability. When we called for answers, we were met with rudeness and condescension, repeatedly told to “refer to the fine print,” including being informed that they could legally hold our belongings for up to 21 days. Using fine print to excuse total lack of transparency is unacceptable.
The worst part of this experience was dealing with Claudia, the office manager. Her communication was dismissive, antagonistic, and shockingly unprofessional. Rather than de-escalating an already distressing situation, she escalated it—speaking to us as if we were a nuisance rather than clients whose entire household was being held in limbo. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no effort toward resolution.
When the delivery finally occurred, the experience only worsened. The crew tracked mud through our home, staining our carpets with muddy boots. The unloading took hours upon hours, far beyond what was reasonable. The movers repeatedly took 45-minute smoke breaks, spent time chatting on FaceTime while on the clock, and showed little urgency or professionalism throughout the process.
Before even arriving, the driver demanded full payment before unloading, citing previous customers who refused to pay after delivery. Given this experience, that is not surprising. Our belongings were effectively held hostage unless we agreed to pay in advance. After everything we endured, we were then pressured to tip at the end of the job.
Moving is stressful enough. This company took a major life transition and turned it into an ordeal defined by manipulation, disrespect, and exhaustion.
If you value your time, your belongings, or being treated with basic human decency, do not use this company. There are far better, more ethical movers out there. This one is not it.
