Moving company in Winnetka, CA
Long-distance moves are stressful, but Weststar Relocation Inc made it simple. They packed everything properly, communicated along the way, and delivered right on schedule. Every item was intact, and their professional attitude made me feel completely at ease.
The moving job took significantly longer than expected from start to finish. There seemed to be delays during both loading and unloading, and the crew did not always appear coordinated. This extended the moving day considerably. Better organization could have made the process much smoother.
If you are looking for honest movers, go with this team. I had a small move from my studio to a one bedroom house. I only had about 12 pieces of furniture, but some of them were very bulky, like my sleeper sofa. They wrapped the sofa in plastic, so the fabric stayed clean during the transition. The total time was exactly 3 hours, which was perfect for my schedule. I would definitely call them again for my next move.
Bad company to run. I don't want to sound dramatic, but this company is the worst place I've ever worked. Everyone I've ever talked to who has worked for another company or who has heard tales about this one has made fun of it and expressed bewilderment at the things they've heard and the way it's run. Even though it has supposedly been running for over 3 years, it is administered by people who don't seem to care that much about its obvious flaws.
This was a full-service move, including the complete unpacking and setup of the kitchen. They put away dishes, glasses, and small appliances into the new cabinets. They even organized the pantry basics. This service was expensive, but it saved me days of work. Everything was expertly organized and handled.
I’d suggest Weststar Relocation Inc without hesitation. They handled the transfer of my small business to a new location, and every step went smoothly. The movers stayed respectful, careful, and focused throughout the job. I appreciated that they worked efficiently and kept the process straightforward.
I moved during the middle of winter and was worried the snow and ice would cause delays or damage. Weststar Relocation Inc showed up early, prepared for the weather, and still treated every item with care. David kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable with how things were going. They worked efficiently and safely, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience in those conditions.
Everything about my move went great. The movers were friendly, efficient, and treated my furniture like their own. Even my large couch fit through a tight doorway without damage. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
To keep you locked into the payment plan, they purposefully under-quote you, delay your pickup, and then charge you thousands more. This data was provided to me by the outside company they hired to pick up my belongings. In fact, he claimed that they were underquoting him on purpose. The actual amount I had to pay was four or five times the first estimate. They also did not take any of my belongings or furniture from me and left everything exactly how it was. Not recommended
The final unloading did not go as planned because several belongings were placed carelessly around the new home. Some furniture was left in inconvenient areas, and multiple boxes needed to be rearranged. We had to spend additional time fixing the placement ourselves. More attention to our instructions would have improved the experience.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Weststar Relocation Inc holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.

Hello, We take feedback very seriously; however, we cannot find any record of you ever booking services with our company or completing a move with us. Based on your statement that no belongings or furniture were ever picked up and everything was left exactly how it was, it appears that services were never performed by our company. Without a signed agreement, bill of lading, or scheduled move under your name, we are unable to verify the situation you are describing. Additionally, pricing for moving services is always outlined in the written estimate and contract prior to any scheduled pickup. Our company does not “lock” anyone into a payment plan, nor do we intentionally underquote customers. Any price adjustments in the moving industry are based strictly on inventory, services requested, or changes made by the customer. If you believe this review was posted regarding the wrong company, we kindly ask that you remove or update it. If you would like to discuss the matter further, please contact our office directly so we can review the details. Thank you.
