Moving company in Winnetka, CA
The moving job took significantly longer than expected from start to finish. There seemed to be delays during both loading and unloading, and the crew did not always appear coordinated. This extended the moving day considerably. Better organization could have made the process much smoother.
The final unloading did not go as planned because several belongings were placed carelessly around the new home. Some furniture was left in inconvenient areas, and multiple boxes needed to be rearranged. We had to spend additional time fixing the placement ourselves. More attention to our instructions would have improved the experience.
Incredible Moving Company! Their service is great, in my view. To finish the job, they worked quickly and well. They carefully moved each item and then repacked as needed. Their movers were careful and efficient, which is why I picked them.
Bad company to run. I don't want to sound dramatic, but this company is the worst place I've ever worked. Everyone I've ever talked to who has worked for another company or who has heard tales about this one has made fun of it and expressed bewilderment at the things they've heard and the way it's run. Even though it has supposedly been running for over 3 years, it is administered by people who don't seem to care that much about its obvious flaws.
I’d suggest Weststar Relocation Inc without hesitation. They handled the transfer of my small business to a new location, and every step went smoothly. The movers stayed respectful, careful, and focused throughout the job. I appreciated that they worked efficiently and kept the process straightforward.
This company is a waste of time and money. I plan to provide input whenever I can. The testimonies indicate that the ultimate cost would fluctuate significantly from the movers' initial estimate. The moving business charged me an additional $500 even though I provided all the dimensions and measured everything with a tape measure because this company failed to provide a price.
James team neatly packed my clothes in wardrobe boxes to prevent wrinkling. They delivered my lights and artwork on time and assisted me with unpacking at my new place.
The four guys who moved us were the nicest people. They kept a positive, upbeat energy going the whole day. They introduced themselves right away and confirmed the inventory list before starting. It felt like moving with a highly efficient group of friends. Highly recommend this specific moving crew!
If you are looking for honest movers, go with this team. I had a small move from my studio to a one bedroom house. I only had about 12 pieces of furniture, but some of them were very bulky, like my sleeper sofa. They wrapped the sofa in plastic, so the fabric stayed clean during the transition. The total time was exactly 3 hours, which was perfect for my schedule. I would definitely call them again for my next move.
This was a full-service move, including the complete unpacking and setup of the kitchen. They put away dishes, glasses, and small appliances into the new cabinets. They even organized the pantry basics. This service was expensive, but it saved me days of work. Everything was expertly organized and handled.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Weststar Relocation Inc holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.

Richard, Sorry to hear the estimate changed at pickup and the service wasn't up to your standards. After careful review we have noticed a few discrepancies with the review at hand. You were in fact charged an additional $480.00 not $1000.00. Now this was due to the sectional being a 6 piece not a 5 piece as listed. Also, the fireplace was a 2 piece not a single item. Unfortunately, the original rep could have in fact made two errors with the inventory but this is also why we go over the inventory multiple times prior to pick up. We noticed that the original list included a sectional with 5 pieces and the driver arrived it was a 6 piece. We have tried to contact via phone to offer a potential resolution without luck. We would love to discuss a possible correction here. Please give us a call at 323-538-5414. Thank You
