Exceptional service! So quick and easy to schedule and they came out right away. Also had the best price of all the companies I contacted. Movers moved quickly and didn't try to drag out the time.
I had to move my 2-bedroom apartment on very short notice, and Value Added Moving came through perfectly. The team was punctual, organized, and didn’t miss a beat. Everything arrived safely, and $6,400 felt completely fair for their professionalism.
Completely a scam, I am shocked that my stuff (what wasn't damaged or lost) even arrived. Even their "insurance" is a third party scam that hasn't gone anywhere in month now. They bait and switched me on the price just like everyone else is complaining about, and took over three weeks with my stuff in transit (lost and damaged stuff) Wish I had a time machine so I could avoid ever dealing with these criminals.
The company lies. They give you a price and when the 3rd party arrives they get you to pay up front, preferably in cash, zelle, or cash app. Once your items are in the truck they give you a new price that is THOUSANDS of dollars higher than what you were originally quoted. If you say say No, they then tell you they not giving you your money back and will hold your items hostage.
I wish there were an option to give 0 stars. I booked a move with Value Added Moving in early September and paid a $1,145 deposit. I canceled the service within 48 hours, well within their contract’s 72-hour cancellation policy, which states I’m entitled to a 90% refund. From September 3rd to November 13th, I have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls — each time I was told my case was being “forwarded to billing.” Nothing has happened. No refund. No follow-through. Just stalling and scripted responses. This company’s business practices feel dishonest and border on theft. They are withholding money they are contractually obligated to return. Do not trust this company with your move or your money.
They did a great job moving a French door refrigerator into my house. This older house has smaller doorways but he was able to maneuver the fridge through them, and did so without complaining or asking for more money. He's a standup guy with old school work ethics and values. Definitely a service provider I will use again. Thanks.
He and his team really went above and beyond to make my daughters move easy and painless as possible. I can’t thank them enough. The price was accurate, no hidden fees or additional costs. I will definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company and an excellent moving team.

Same story quoted $2500 movers loaded the truck and the price went up to $7800. The company that picked the stuff up literally said value added moving was one of the worst brokers. The first person didn't inventory correctly and when Daniel called and got the inventory correct he only added 20 more cubic feet. Just horrible company. I dont quite understand how I got tangled up with them but dishonest.
Friend moved from Arizona to Ohio this month. They ended up charging her double what their "come out and look it over" original quote was. Her stuff could not be gotten out of the truck because the move they shared the truck with - with a delivery date after hers- was in the way. When the truck finally came back to her new house, the moving men (she paid for full service) just left and did NONE of the work, leaving her and a family member to do all the moving. Because the truck was poorly packed, several large pieces of furniture were destroyed. When she called the company about the contract guaranteed damage insurance THE SAME DAY THE TRUCK WAS UNLOADED, they told her the move was marked completed so they could not pay for the damages or refund for the movers time. And they will get away with it because they double charged her and took all her money. Don't hire these folks for anything. Don't let them lie to you and tell you customer service is their top priority.
