Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
From the initial pickup to the final delivery, the Value Added Moving crew was professional and dependable. They were punctual, friendly, and worked efficiently. Everything arrived safely at our destination.
Value Added Moving took an $8,942.57 deposit on a written binding estimate of $12,642 and provided literally zero services. I gave them a complete inventory of every item in the house. On 8/14 they confirmed movers would arrive the morning of 8/15. No one showed. Call logs prove it. The next day (8/16) a crew finally appeared and demanded $56,000 on the spot with no new written estimate or contract. I refused and made them leave without loading a single item. I immediately demanded a full refund. On 8/17 they acknowledged the refund was owed but claimed it would take “a few days longer” because I had disputed the charge. They have now reversed course and are refusing to return the deposit after performing no work at all. This is a classic bait-and-switch. I have filed formal complaints with the BBB, Florida Attorney General, and FMCSA/NCCDB. Do not trust this company with your money or your belongings.
He and his team really went above and beyond to make my daughters move easy and painless as possible. I can’t thank them enough. The price was accurate, no hidden fees or additional costs. I will definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company and an excellent moving team.
I had such a great experience with them! He and his team were responsive, honest, punctual and professional. They were very thorough in the way they treated my belongings and they moved everything right on time without a scratch on anything. 10 out of 10 and I’d highly recommend!
Exceptional service! So quick and easy to schedule and they came out right away. Also had the best price of all the companies I contacted. Movers moved quickly and didn't try to drag out the time.
I give them absolutely 5 stars. The crew moved all our stuff up some tricky stairs quickly and safely — a real treat to work with. They handled a shifting window for us with no added fees. I would use them again.
They were punctual, careful with everything, and made the whole process quick and stress-free. Everything was handled with great care. Keep it up, Value Added Moving!
I recently entrusted Value Added Moving with my relocation and was really impressed with their service, especially since we ran into unexpected rain on moving day.
So great! They were fast and efficient, I was worried about my glass cabinet but they secured it and made the trip effortlessly. 100% recommend A+ very nice guys!
The first afternoon in assisted living sets the tone, so arrange the room before you unpack everything. Bed against the wall with the call button within reach, lamp on the nightstand, and a clear path to the bathroom. Unpack the personal items next: photos, the quilt from home, books, and the chair they like to sit in. Keep walkways open so staff can move freely, and store nothing on the floor that creates a trip hazard. Check the dresser drawers and closet rods as the crew places them, and note any damage on the delivery slip. Facilities across Fort Lauderdale vary in room size, so confirm your measurements matched the actual space. If anything is missing or broken, tell Value Added Moving within the claims window and keep the delivery paperwork handy for the report.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Value Added Moving holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
