Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
The two workers did a great job and were punctual. They moved the items quickly and even placed some of the large furniture in their proper areas at the new location. Thanks!
We requested a quote for moving a FULL 10x15 storage unit in MA to Florida. They asked us to describe the contents best as we could recall. They gave us a great price. The movers showed up and said the price would be double! Apparently the salesman entered the cubic footage for a uit 1/2 the size of our 10x15. We argued, said as movers they could only go by what the paper said. We said we'd like to cancel as the price was more than we could afford but they claimed the deposit of $1900 would be kept as breach of contract! If we had calculated the cubic feet of a 10x15 unit we would have recognized the problem on the contract. Our mistake trusting the salesman, who was told it was a full 10x15 unit! And although the movers said it wasn't a full unit, the price was still going to be more than double. We definitely feel we were robbed.
I live in a shared building, so noise matters. I expected a lot of banging and echoing through the hallway. Instead, the team worked steadily and kept the volume reasonable. No unnecessary shouting, no door slams. It made the whole process feel calmer than most moves I’ve seen. By the end of the afternoon, everything was in place and the building felt normal again.
Value Added Moving exceeded my expectations with their outstanding service. From the initial quote to the final delivery, everything was handled professionally. The team was punctual, friendly, and extremely careful with my belongings. They took the time to properly pack fragile items and made sure nothing was damaged during transit. I also appreciated how organized and efficient they were; it really reduced the stress of moving. The pricing was fair with no hidden fees, which made the whole experience even better. I’m very satisfied with their service and would gladly use them again in the future. Highly recommended!
I recently booked Value Added Moving for my move from Tampa, FL to Nashville, TN, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. The team was professional, arrived on time, and handled all my belongings with care. They worked efficiently and made sure everything was properly packed and loaded. Delivery was on schedule, and nothing was damaged, which was a huge relief. I also appreciated the clear communication and transparency in pricing—no hidden fees at the end. Overall, it was a stress-free moving experience, and I would definitely recommend Value Added Moving to anyone planning a long-distance move.
I got a response within minutes of requesting a quote. They were very professional, communicated pricing clearly, took less than 2 hours to get to my location, and less than 15 minutes to do the job with a great attitude from both movers. They'll be my first choice if we need help again. HIGHLY recommended.
Parking can slow everything down where I live. Once they figured out the setup, the flow didn’t really stop. Items moved in a steady rhythm without blocking things up.
My experience with Value Added Moving for my relocation from Dallas, TX to Phoenix, AZ was quite positive. I booked my move through Value Added Moving, and I must say that the whole process was quite smooth. They explained everything quite well, and on the day of the move, their crew was on time. They did their job quite well, and my stuff was well taken care of. I think what I loved most about my experience was the fact that the final bill was close to the initial estimate, which made the whole relocation quite stress-free. I think Value Added Moving is the way to go for a smooth relocation.
