Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Even though our apartment had no elevator and multiple staircases, the movers didn’t flinch. They carried everything safely and remained cheerful the entire time. They even avoided damaging the walls or banisters.
I have a huge collection of books and moving them was something I was really afraid of. The movers handled the boxes with care. They made sure my beloved books didn’t get damaged during the move. They were efficient and packed everything in a way that made the move much faster than I expected. I was impressed with how organized and thoughtful they were.
Due to a last-minute job change, these gentlemen came to my support. Despite very little notice, they managed to get me in and arrived early. It was like watching a synchronized ballet as they packed everything swiftly and carefully. They made unpacking easier by helping me organize my boxes by room.
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
We were moving from our 2-bedroom home to a new house, and there was a lot of stuff to move; furniture, kids' toys, and a lot of sentimental items. The movers were great about managing the chaos. They were patient with the kids, and they handled all the furniture carefully. They got everything into the new place efficiently, and they even helped us with the setup.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
I had thought that I would have at least one broken piece after I moved, but thankfully everything made it to me in good condition. I had lots of friends recommend United Express Moving And Storage movers to me, and I can see why. They wrapped up my glass dining table and I was amazed that nothing happened to it during the journey. They were careful with my delicate objects and checked to make sure everything was in order before they set off.
The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
