This move was a nightmare!

This move was a nightmare! We went with them because they said they were not brokers. Phil Sharp made promises and lies just to get business. They had a company (not them) call me to arrange the move. Problem was I have never heard of the company and had no idea I was supposed to deal with them. They show up moving day with the wrong truck so half my stuff didn’t move. When I asked how to get the rest moved I was quoted four thousand dollars for a truck to come for it. I had no idea who to call to see when my stuff would arrive at my new house. A week later, a driver called and says he is on the way. All this happening with me calling United express and them having no idea what was going on. The truck arrives and there is one driver to move in all my stuff. Apparently they put a list out on Craig’s list and hope people show up. No one did. I helped the mover get my stuff in. This all cost me close to ten grand! And I did the work! Please use a company not this one. I never leave reviews but I felt if I can save one family from the nightmare I went through it was worth it.

HORRIBLE.

I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.

Terrible Service.

Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

This guys are pros.

I had thought that I would have at least one broken piece after I moved, but thankfully everything made it to me in good condition. I had lots of friends recommend United Express Moving And Storage movers to me, and I can see why. They wrapped up my glass dining table and I was amazed that nothing happened to it during the journey. They were careful with my delicate objects and checked to make sure everything was in order before they set off.

Royal Treatment.

I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.

The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.

United Express Moving & Storage

United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!

Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.

Trust me this company is terrible !!

The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.

Worst move ever.

The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
