I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
Working with this company was a true pleasure. For a single parent like myself, their outstanding assistance made moving much easier, especially with packing and organizing the furniture in the truck and tying it with straps. They handled everything very carefully when loading and unloading.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
Although moving a business is never easy, one company made the process simple. They arrived after hours to transfer our office equipment. Everything, particularly our laptops and confidential papers, was handled with care. Their professionalism and quickness are impressive.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
I had thought that I would have at least one broken piece after I moved, but thankfully everything made it to me in good condition. I had lots of friends recommend United Express Moving And Storage movers to me, and I can see why. They wrapped up my glass dining table and I was amazed that nothing happened to it during the journey. They were careful with my delicate objects and checked to make sure everything was in order before they set off.
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
My biggest concern was moving my instruments—especially my beloved guitar collection. United Express Moving & Storage brought specialized crates for the instruments and lined them with extra foam. They handled each guitar with care, placing them upright in the truck to prevent any damage. They wrapped my drum kit piece by piece, labeling each part for easy assembly later. When I saw the meticulous way they handled my equipment, I knew I’d made the right choice. Everything arrived safe and sound, and I was ready to jam again in no time.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
My experience with their movers was excellent. Andrew, my moving coordinator, was excellent and made sure his team finished the move on schedule. Due to a weak signal, he experienced connectivity issues while travelling and was unable to contact me. Fortunately, though, he also sent me a tracking link at the same moment when everything started loading so I could monitor the process myself. The relocation was finished on schedule, and everything arrived in perfect shape. I am very obliged!
