Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
We relocated to another state, and United Express Moving & Storage stayed in contact the whole way. They gave updates on timing, and everything arrived exactly as promised. I’ll definitely call them again for any future moves.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
I had to move quickly after my lease ended. The crew showed up the same day, loaded my sofa, bed, and almost 18 boxes, and had me settled before evening. Their fast response made all the difference.
Stay away! Wanted to give zero stars if allowed. They give you a low ball number to get you to sign and then 3 days before the move it changes and almost doubled. Then it is too late to cancel without losing a large down payment. They have fly by night companies doing the move with drivers that can't speak English and they are driving a moving truck which I believe is illegal now. My furniture was stored and delivered a week later which I was not told would happen. Then when the furniture did come only one mover showed up trying to deliver a large sofa which fell off the hand truck and broke my screen door. They did no set up bedroom furniture, no putting paper down to protect floors and then left all garbage behind and cardboard from the truck in my driveway. Horrible experience, stay away and save the pain. Hire a company that does not demand half payment before doing anything and only a 3 day window to cancel. They know that when they call the 3 days before to confirm that it is too late to cancel and they have you for so much money that you can't afford to cancel. This company needs to be investigated for their business practices!
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
I needed to move some old furniture into storage. The movers wrapped the sofa, stacked boxes neatly in the unit, and left enough space for me to access things later. They were thoughtful and efficient.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. United Express Moving & Storage holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
