Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
While I was moving out of a place I shared with a friend, I knew sorting our things would be the hardest part. I didn’t want anything mixed up by mistake. So the team we hired helped us separate our items and gave us time to double-check each one. They followed the order I set, and the whole move ended up feeling much simpler than I thought it would.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.

The team from United Express Moving & Storage arrived early and walked me through what they planned to do. I had several delicate items that needed attention, and they handled each one in a careful and organized way. They made sure the boxes were arranged neatly so nothing would shift around.
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
We moved from TX to SD, and it was a long-distance move. I expected delays, but everything went according to plan. They checked in during the trip and confirmed the arrival time. Upon arrival at the destination, they carefully unloaded the boxes and placed them where I asked. It was a straightforward experience, and I would recommend them for long-distance moves.
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
