The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
The movers were highly recommended for their professionalism and quickness. Throughout the process, they were helpful and offered professional suggestions on where to put the furniture to make the room more comfortable. As part of their meticulous handling, they wrapped the glass components and kept me apprised of any possible additional expenses by communicating clearly throughout the process.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
The movers' packing service was top-notch. They wrapped and knotted my belongings securely to ensure their protection throughout shipment. The customer service I got when I was moving was top-notch. They were easy to get in touch with and responded fast anytime I had queries.
Excellent service, as always! They made my work easier and less stressful. They covered my furniture to prevent scratching, even using foam to protect my hardwood dresser. The movers were really helpful and finished a fantastic job.
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
The crew worked hard and kept a positive attitude throughout the move. They protected the furniture, handled the boxes carefully, and stayed organized during unloading. Overall, the relocation went smoothly.
