Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
Do not use this company. As so many other reviews state, they are a brokerage company not an actual moving company. David gave me a price and a date that were totally bogus. Ryan called me 2 days before the move date and demanded a big cost increase because "it's the busy moving season". What a joke. The guys delivering our stuff were not even professional movers just truck drivers. They stacked boxes marked fragile glass upside down. We had massive damage including legs broken off furniture and smashed glass. The damage claim process is a complete waste of time designed to frustrate you to the point where you give up. After hours of paperwork I got an email saying they are proud to send us $72 for our compensation. STAY AWAY FROM UNITED EXPRESS MOVING!!!
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
From initial consultation to final implementation, the United Express Moving & Storage team did everything in their power to provide a smooth experience for its customers.
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
We appreciate the opportunity to move and were pleased with the way everything was wrapped, move, and unloaded by United Express Moving & Storage. I have used them twice and have been very satisfied both times.
In terms of stress, this was by far the best and smoothest relocation I've ever experienced. The movers did a terrific job and were incredibly attentive and pleasant to work with. The foresight proved to be right on. Nothing untoward happened throughout the day.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. United Express Moving & Storage holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
