Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
My move was scheduled during a rainstorm. I had a crib, stroller, and nursery items. The crew brought an extra wrap without me asking. Floors were covered in both places. The crib was taken apart and labeled. Boxes stayed dry the whole time. They even wiped wheels before entering the new home.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
The heavy rain started right as we began loading, but the guys didn't slow down. They covered my belongings in plastic to keep them dry and worked through the downpour without a single complaint. I was impressed by their work ethic under those conditions. My rugs stayed clean, and the move finished on time. I appreciate the extra effort they put in to keep my stuff dry.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Relocating a small workshop is a tricky job, but this team handled it perfectly. They moved everything from SD to NJ, loading the heavy tool chests with skill and great coordination. I found the whole experience very simple and honest from the first phone call until the final delivery. I’m happy with the outcome and the speed of the work. This was a top-tier group for any moving job.
I had to move across the state because I got a new job last month. I was worried about my computer setup and all my tech gear getting banged up during the drive. The guys were helpful and made sure the monitors were tucked in safely. They didn't hit any walls or scrape the floor while they were carrying the bins out. It was a simple process.
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
