Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Even though our apartment had no elevator and multiple staircases, the movers didn’t flinch. They carried everything safely and remained cheerful the entire time. They even avoided damaging the walls or banisters.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
We were moving from our 2-bedroom home to a new house, and there was a lot of stuff to move; furniture, kids' toys, and a lot of sentimental items. The movers were great about managing the chaos. They were patient with the kids, and they handled all the furniture carefully. They got everything into the new place efficiently, and they even helped us with the setup.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
I feel nervous on moving day, but United Express Moving & Storage made it easy. Phil, Carl, and Andrew arrived 10 minutes early with clipboards and shirts, did a quick tour, and noted issues. I fastened my dresser's hanging leg before packing. Bubble wrap protected my porcelain lamp in a padded package. They moved everything, asked where to put it, and helped set up my entertainment center.
When I had to move out of my third-floor flat without a lift, the team was brilliant. They were like machines, carrying large boxes up and down the stairs without any complaints. They managed to position my huge bookcase perfectly, even though I was sure it wouldn't go through the stairway. They truly have excellent problem-solving skills.
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
