Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The movers arrived well after the scheduled time, and there was very little communication beforehand. This caused a major delay in my plans for the day. The loading itself was also quite slow. Overall, I found the experience disappointing.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
It was pouring rain on moving day, but the crew members came prepared with waterproof covers and floor protectors. Despite the weather, all my things stayed dry and were transported without any damage.
I had items that were delicate and I didn't want to move them, but this team took extra care with them. They took special care with the padding, treated it in the most delicate way, and made sure it all made it home. Excellent service!
Moving day was handled very efficiently by the team. They protected the larger pieces before moving them and took care with smaller belongings. Their organized approach made settling in easier.
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
I was most worried about my upright piano. The crew wrapped it in thick padding, strapped it securely, and lifted it with care. It now sits perfectly in my new home, and it did not suffer a single scratch.
Very disappointing experience with this moving company. The staff was unprofessional and the service was not satisfactory. Communication and organization could have been much better. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
I had movers help me unload a rented truck I drove from another city. They showed up ready to work and finished everything faster than I expected. They placed boxes in each room without me even asking. I liked how organized they were.
United Express Moving & Storage handled my long-distance move. They arrived right on schedule, packed my fragile kitchenware, and delivered it across state lines in two days. Everything was intact. I’ll use them again for my next move.
