They grossly lowball to get you to commit and then charge WAY more.

Top Nation estimated my shipment at approximately 600 cubic feet/$4,116 after I provided photographs and inventory information. Like this was extensive pre move, estimation that I was painstakingly specific about: I even included measurements of numerous items. At pickup, the carrier Top Nation arranged ultimately revised the shipment to approximately 1,500 cubic feet and charges approaching $9,000. I have disputed the basis for that discrepancy and filed an FMCSA complaint. Do not book with these people, they will try to entice you with a rate lower than competitors, tell you how they can charge you this rate because "they already have a truck moving through [your] area" and all of their lies such as "we have been working with these [movers] for years" (regarding moving companies not even a year old). You will be lowballed and out thousands, please do not use them.

DO NOT USE! SCAMMERS!

Our cross-country move with Top Nation Relocation has been a frustrating exercise in poor communication and unethical business practices. We were sold on a specific price point ($2,800) and delivery timeline (August 17th), only to find that these promises were entirely empty. The "first available date" policy was intentionally obfuscated to hide a 30-day delivery window, leaving us without our belongings for weeks. The onsite moving crew, Moving Services Nevada, engaged in a classic bait-and-switch: they would not confirm our load size until the items were already packed, at which point they demanded significant additional fees. Attempts to resolve this through Top Nation were met with dead ends. Representatives could not track our shipment or explain why our items were stranded in Nevada without a driver. The lack of transparency and refusal to escalate our concerns to management made a stressful move nearly impossible. We are now pursuing a formal complaint with the California Attorney General to address the systemic issues we encountered with this company.

Excellent bargain.

After renovating our home, we have hired the TOP NATION RELOCATION for moving our belongings. The team were conscientious about the location of all the finished spaces and placed items correctly as requested. There was no need to worry about extra scratches or any other mess.

I would definitely use Top Nation Relocation services again.

The whole process was easy, from the first packing of the kitchen box to the last placement of the bedroom dresser in our new home. The movers were well-organised, diligent and very careful with our property. I would definitely use Top Nation Relocation services again.

Simply the best.

On moving day we had a slight delay in our key handing over which was around 2 hours later. The crew waited patiently, taking time to take their lunch break in the truck. They didn't attempt to put unreasonable waiting fees, and as soon as we had the keys, they started working immediately.

Absolutely THE BEST!!!

This was not a relocation, but an in-house move. During the house's reconstruction we had to transport a number of heavy items from the upper story to the basement. The crew was quick, easy to work with and the minimum charge was reasonable.

Royal Treatment.

I never knew how much effort it would take to move a house until this team got involved! They packed up our kitchen, they took care of the sofa, and they had everything delivered without any trouble.

Disingenuous Sales Practices by Top Nation Relocation

Our cross‑country move with Top Nation Relocation was a nightmare of deception and negligence. From start to finish, they overpromised, misled, and failed to deliver. Sales rep Jake Donnelly guaranteed our move would cost no more than $2,800 and that our belongings would arrive in Washington, D.C. by August 17th. He refused to explain what “first available date” meant, leading us to believe that was our delivery date. Only later did we learn it was the *start* of a 30‑day window — a critical detail deliberately withheld. The movers from Moving Services Nevada ignored repeated requests to confirm whether our items exceeded the 300 sq. ft. limit before loading. After everything was packed, they claimed we owed multiples in extra fees. This bait‑and‑switch robbed us of any chance to make informed decisions. For weeks, we called Top Nation for updates. No one could tell us where our belongings were. On move‑in day, we discovered our items were still sitting on a truck in Nevada with no driver assigned. When we finally reached another rep, Justin, he admitted there was “nothing he could do,” refused to connect us with management, and contradicted himself about having “personal contacts.” This company’s conduct — false assurances, hidden policies, and total lack of accountability — reflects systemic fraud and consumer abuse. We’ve since found multiple reports of identical experiences online, including a TikTok video exposing similar deceit toward an elderly customer. We are filing a formal complaint with the California Attorney General to help prevent others from being exploited. Top Nation Relocation should not be allowed to continue operating under such unethical practices.

Worst Moving Experience

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. What started off being sold to me as an affordable option for moving ended up being significantly worse than I could have imagined. During my first call and initial payment, the member I was talking to was very kind, informative, and asked about what I was moving. I estimated three dressers, two twin beds and their frames, a dining table and four chairs, a sofa, a living chair, a desk, a desk chair, and thirty boxes. This was a good amount of furniture, and they were very confident they could move this easily. Perfect! I was given my initial estimate, the initial day of my pickup, and I was told everything would be white-glove. I wouldn't have to touch any of my furniture or boxes, and they would deliver everything safely and on time. Wonderful! As a note, Top Nation Relocation is the company that organizes the movers, not the ones ACTUALLY doing the moving. My moving company was Home Run Vanlines. The moving day came, everything was packed and ready to go, and then the movers were delayed. Okay, I have to be out of my apartment and storage unit today, but they're just delayed, this is fine. They're delayed AGAIN. And then AGAIN. And then suddenly it's 8 PM and they're not actually going to be there on my pickup day. Sick. My landlord makes me call them in order to prove that I'm not lying. The entire situation was incredibly uncomfortable. The moving company told me and my landlord they'd be there at 6 AM sharp. They did not arrive the next day until almost 10 AM. I was then apparently given only 400 cubic-feet of space in the truck for all of my furniture and boxes, which was truly impossible. I don't know who does the estimates for how much space three dressers and a sofa take up, but it certainly was not only 400-cubic feet. So, my estimate goes up by about $3,000. Sobbingly having to leave several of my late-grandmother's things as I move across the country, I manage to get my estimate down to only about $1,000 more than my initial given price. I get one bed without a frame, two dressers, a desk, a desk chair, and my dining table with two chairs, and most of my boxes. I did not get a sofa, a second bed, my living chair, one of my dressers, and half of my dining chairs. They took boxes of glass that I was going to bring in my car because they had sentimental pieces in them (we'll come back to this later), but admittedly wrapped the furniture they did take really well, I'll give them this. My stuff was packed up, the head individual running things ask about my delivery date (which we'll come to later), and then they were off. I packed whatever I could fit into my car, leaving again most of my late-grandmother's inherited goods behind with my abusive ex, and then moved across the country. My delivery day came, halfway through the month. I had heard NOTHING about my movers, so I called TNR again just to check in. Apparently, the delivery day I gave the movers wasn't ACTUALLY my delivery day, but the "Earliest Available Delivery Date". They hadn't even started moving my things in my direction yet. So, I ended up in my new apartment with none of my furniture, sleeping on the floor for almost three weeks until I finally heard that the movers were on their way. Cool! Finally! The day they're going to be there comes, they say they'll be there between 7-9 AM on a Sunday. Well, I'm a minister, so that means I have to call out of serving my congregation. They don't arrive until 5 PM, and I am unable to see my things until I pay them, so I pay them over Apple Pay (weird as hell by the way, but whatever). 85% of my boxes are either torn or crushed, and there is no regard for my things as they are haphazardly stacked in the lobby of my apartment complex. They complain about having to walk all the way down the hallway (mind you, again, I've been sleeping on the floor for three weeks), and then just leave my things around. At one point, the head individual puts a very heavy portion of my desk onto the elevator with a random other person and says to me "you can handle that one" and then gets off the elevator. I, in fact, could NOT handle that part without the dolly he used to put it onto the elevator, and only was able to get it OFF of the elevator with the help of someone at the floor I was getting off of. It was NOT "white glove delivery" wherein I didn't have to carry things, and there were SEVERAL instances where I had to put together pieces of furniture that they took apart or carry stacks of my boxes that they would leave in the hallway. They proceeded to make sexist remarks to the people helping me unpack ("you should leave the lifting to the big strong men"), and then would set down boxes CLEARLY marked as "fragile" with zero regard. Several of my items arrived shattered, including the boxes of glass which I intended to bring myself, including items from the early 1900s I inherited from even my great-grandparents which cannot be replaced, my desk and desk chair- hell, even a coat-hanger came broken in a box full of soft clothing. They ended the entire delivery by asking the religious denomination of my household, and pushing us to answer despite me being clearly VERY frustrated with the fact that maybe two of my boxes arrived in "okay" condition. It is now a month later, I have gotten no reimbursement for my broken objects, and am not estimated to for another two months. This process was miserable, drawn out, rude, and overall more expensive than if I just moved all of my things myself. I cannot dissuade anyone ENOUGH from not using this company. The entire process, lack of communication, and disrespect for my belongings is impossibly unprofessional.

Thank you for their attentive treatment.

For me, the biggest concern for the home office was the cost of the equipment. No scratches, everything was in its place. I'm working so much sooner than I thought I was. Thank you for their attentive treatment.
