Save yourself the time on these other reviews - they clearly look fake. I had a job with top nation relocation, they will underestimate your costs to get you intrigued, set you up with highly questionable moving companies with no process. And absolve themselves of any accountability once you sign and they've been paid.
I was moving about 400 miles with less than 450 sq ft of inventory. When I was first sold by the sales agent (his name was Santi) he told me I would not have to pay over a dime more than our agreed upon Bill of Lading and to call him if I was ever quoted more. (hint: I paid more). I received one call to confirm my inventory list a few days in advance, which was only a few more items than my original quote, and then after moving the pickup date, they never got another inventory. Additionally, when I called about the COI (certificate of insurance) I was told that "I was supposed to tell them I needed it and it was too late otherwise" when I had told Santi when I booked the company three weeks prior. Then, on pick up day, I was told my pickup window was 10am-2pm and I called multiple times in that timeframe asking for an update and kept getting "the driver will call you". I never got a phone call from this team. I finally got a phone call at 3:15pm!! It was a new crew because the one assigned was held up at a different job and no one called to tell me. I was supposed to get a 1-2 hours heads up but this guy called me 20 minutes out. When he got there, he told me it was more than what my original bill of lading, and I tried calling Santi to resolve this and of course, he never answered and never returned my voicemails. I ended up paying $700 more because I couldn't find the rest in my already filled car. They didn't finish packing everything up until 5:30pm. Then, no one in this whole process told me that the payments were to be in postal money order or cash, which I obviously didn't have. I had to drive states away after this and had told them the day before 2pm was my cutoff time, but this was the only day I could move. So we missed my buildings delivery window and had to push it to the next day. Then, the next day comes around and I am supposed to receive a heads up call for drop-off and of course, I didn't. I was told it would be about 3/4pm but I called at 1pm to check in and they said, again, 20 minutes out. When they got there, they carelessly dropped my dresser on the ground and split some of the wood. And, one of the only boxes that had "FRAGILE" all over it was absolutely destroyed, and you guessed it, half the items were broken.
On moving day we had a slight delay in our key handing over which was around 2 hours later. The crew waited patiently, taking time to take their lunch break in the truck. They didn't attempt to put unreasonable waiting fees, and as soon as we had the keys, they started working immediately.
After renovating our home, we have hired the TOP NATION RELOCATION for moving our belongings. The team were conscientious about the location of all the finished spaces and placed items correctly as requested. There was no need to worry about extra scratches or any other mess.
The truck was rented out by us and we needed only help with loading the truck. The available space was used very well and the spaces were packed tightly and securely. During this drive, nothing moved so we were happy with that.
We decided to move to another country and got some great help from Top Nation Relocation. We wanted to know what all of our options are and what was covered before we signed up. Their team responded to our questions and clarified the process of brokerage in a simple manner. I was grateful to have the chance to discuss our needs and get a better idea about the arrangements.
The crew seemed disorganized during the initial part of the move. Some boxes were not loaded in the order I had requested, which caused confusion later. The job also took longer than expected. I was not pleased with how the move was managed.
I was concerned about having to pay a lot of additional charges as I am moving out of a small 2-bedroom apartment and on a limited budget. The first consultation was simple, and they had made a partial packing schedule that was totally suitable for my needs, and they didn't charge me extra for things I could do myself. This crew was efficient, respected our no-elevator policy, and moved my items out in record time.
If I could, I would rate as negative stars. This service is absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE THEM!! Costs change without any explanation, they will not give you accurate times for when they will pick up or deliver your stuff. They broke some of our furniture. It has been seven days and I was just informed my stuff hasn't even shipped yet and they have 5-10 days after they decide it could be shipped to get your stuff to you. That time didn't even start until 4 days after pick up. I will not have my stuff for at least 2 weeks at this point. Will I even get everything back, what will be missing or broken? Ridiculous!
I never knew how much effort it would take to move a house until this team got involved! They packed up our kitchen, they took care of the sofa, and they had everything delivered without any trouble.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. TOP NATION RELOCATION holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
