I found the overall moving process frustrating. Clear information and timely updates would have made a big difference. The arrangements could have been managed more professionally. I hope the company improves its service standards.
John and his crew from Swift Shift Van Lines were outstanding, and they exceeded all my expectations. They were the most efficient and effective movers I’ve ever seen, and they packed up my entire apartment in just a few hours. They used all kinds of packing supplies, from foam peanuts to packing tape, and they even gave me some extra boxes for free. They organized everything neatly and logically, and they labeled everything clearly and accurately. They were the best in the business!
At the end of the day, it was just nice to see everything safely in the new location! The crew did an amazing job of making what could have been a very long day very manageable.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
There was a short time to move out. They worked quickly and efficiently with no corners cut and had the place packed in record time. Outstanding work!
A 10/10 experience! I have a number of expensive furniture and I was afraid of getting damaged in the midst of my recent move. But, these movers did all things carefully and used custom padding. My furniture has reached me in perfect shape!
I was really panicking about moving day, but the movers helped a lot! They were well equipped with blankets, plastic sheeting and everything they needed. They packed the fragile items very carefully and they marked a few boxes for me, so that I could locate the important ones later. All staff were respectful and efficient with no time wasted.
David & Mark guarantees a hassle-free experience. They arrived on time, swiftly packed our belongings, and did an excellent job setting up our new home. Also, they were conscious of my baby's possessions and sterilized everything before packing it in a storage box.
I’m very thankful to Johnson and his moving squad for helping me move my office from MD to CT. They were very fast and efficient, and they made the move smooth and easy. They helped me move my heavy office chair, which was very hard to maneuver. They also moved my desk, computer, printer, and files without any issues. They were very careful with my documents and data. They packed them in folders and boxes, and they secured them with locks and passwords.
Once we moved into our old home, we had a very limited space to park the cars, but the movers didn't get into trouble. They maintained an orderly loading process and they were courteous to the other residents. All transport to the new location was made in a safe manner.
