Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
We took their packing service and packed our things with us and it was the best thing we decided to do when we moved. Their crew arrived a day ahead, hauled all the boxes and materials and loaded it, box by box. Thanks to how that extra step, moving day was a piece of cake!
Pretty good experience overall. The only annoying thing was that they kept asking for directions even though I gave them the address twice. But the move itself was fine.
Larry was super responsive and answered all my dumb questions about insurance and packing. The movers themselves were careful and polite. Only small issue was that they were about 30 minutes late, but still a solid 5 stars.
The team assisted us in moving an entire home office setup, including the heavy tech equipment and fragile monitors. All the equipment was in perfect condition! Kudos!
I paid for professional movers, but I ended up doing part of the work myself. The crew moved so slowly that my family had to help carry boxes just to get the move finished before dark.
There were many pieces of wooden furniture that we had to move, and the crew took care of the corners and surfaces. Everything appeared as good as it had prior to the move.
The crew came with the equipment needed for the household move and worked as a coordinated team. Furniture was protected during transportation and boxes were handled carefully. The overall process was straightforward and well managed.
The overall relocation took much longer than anticipated. There were delays during loading and unloading, and the schedule kept changing throughout the day. Although everything was eventually moved, the extended process was tiring and inconvenient. Better planning could have made the move considerably smoother.
I was not sure if my sofa would fit through the stairwell of my new building. The guys measured it on the spot and found a way to get it in without scratching the walls or the furniture. I had been worried about that for days.
This was a very disappointing experience. The crew kept stopping between trips and never seemed focused on finishing the job. A local move shouldn't take this long. I expected much better service.
