Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
What stood out to me was how the crew handled the downtime between loading and unloading. They used that time to organize the truck so that the first items we needed at the new place were the first ones off. Totally satisfied with the service!
I had high hopes based on the reviews, but my experience was completely different. The movers worked at a very slow pace and didn't seem organized. The move took much longer than expected. I wouldn't use this company again.
The team assisted us in moving an entire home office setup, including the heavy tech equipment and fragile monitors. All the equipment was in perfect condition! Kudos!
I expected a smooth experience, but it turned into a series of problems. Communication was poor, and the timeline kept changing without clear explanations. Very disappointing overall.
I needed to move just the contents of my home office and library—many bookshelves and a bulky desk. This wasn't a standard full-house move. Summit Moving & Services didn't hesitate and offered a fair price for the partial load. The two movers were careful with all my electronics and neatly packed all the books. They finished much faster than I anticipated. It was the perfect solution for my specific situation.
We took their packing service and packed our things with us and it was the best thing we decided to do when we moved. Their crew arrived a day ahead, hauled all the boxes and materials and loaded it, box by box. Thanks to how that extra step, moving day was a piece of cake!
The overall relocation took much longer than anticipated. There were delays during loading and unloading, and the schedule kept changing throughout the day. Although everything was eventually moved, the extended process was tiring and inconvenient. Better planning could have made the move considerably smoother.
I paid for professional movers, but I ended up doing part of the work myself. The crew moved so slowly that my family had to help carry boxes just to get the move finished before dark.
Everything was flawless. The next time I need to relocate, I will most certainly give Summit Moving & Services another call.
The crew came with the equipment needed for the household move and worked as a coordinated team. Furniture was protected during transportation and boxes were handled carefully. The overall process was straightforward and well managed.
