They coordinated with both of our buildings, navigating different elevator rules and parking restrictions. Watching them load two sets of furniture and countless boxes of clothes was impressive. They took the time to wrap our brand-new dining set and made sure each chair had extra padding to avoid scuff marks. They were also careful maneuvering our stainless steel refrigerator. No scratches, no dents—just perfect handling. Setting it up in the new kitchen was a breeze. It felt like they were genuinely happy to help us settle into our new place. They showed genuine care for my belongings, double-checking if I needed extra protection for fragile items. My biggest concern was my giant flat-screen TV, but they used custom padding and made sure it was positioned safely in the truck. Unpacking was a breeze because they had everything so well-organized. Also, I appreciated how courteous the movers were; they asked where I wanted each piece of furniture placed before leaving. I’d gladly recommend them to anyone.

Read More Safeway Moving Inc helped us with a move from DE to NY. They arrived promptly and worked hard to move all of our furniture and belongings. This included our piano which they needed to carefully bring down the stairs and then onto the truck. All furniture they dismantled and wrapped in thick blankets, and on the other end put back together professionally. James and their team was very friendly and easy to communicate with, especially when telling them where the things would go. One gentleman even helped us break apart and dispose of a box spring that we no longer needed. They were true to their word and honored everything we agreed to, at the outset (no bait and switch, or dragging out the work).

The movers were pros at loading, strapping, and wrapping, even though they were missing a truck part. Seeing them work was like seeing master craftsmen in action.
