Read More The drivers who picked up our belongings said we had to pay another $1,000 for the items we had because they said it didn't fit in what they said was 300 cubic feet. I spent 2 hours in the truck on FaceTime with their boss measuring it over and over to prove to them that they were lying and only offering us 200 cubic feet, which they finally did admit to. While I was measuring it, one of the drivers got in the front seat and was repeatedly revving the engine and shaking the truck back and forth. Then I got chastised by them for being on the truck because it was a liability. A liability because I might get hurt? Or because I was exposing their lie to scam me out of another $1,000? And when I mentioned something to the drivers about Ian and Cassandra from the office who I'd talked to, they said "they're just salespeople. They don't know what they're talking about." But Ian had told me it was his own company and he owned his own trucks. Then the drivers told me it would all be delivered on July 9. Then the office said the drivers don't know delivery times and it would be another 2-3 days after that. After 3 more days, they said it would be another 3-5 days, meaning it was going to take them 2+ weeks to make a drive I did in 4 days with 3 kids and a cat. And then they randomly showed up the next day with several boxes missing as well as a full-sized standing mirror. They didn't know where the rest of it was. I followed up several times for a week before finally getting a response that they had no idea where the rest of our items were. Of course, in the fine print of the contract the $10,000 liability covers a maximum of 60 cents per pound. In other words, absolutely nothing. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO USE!!!
