I am moving to a different state and the team packed up everything quickly and were still very kind even though they had to deal with my apartment’s freight elevator issues (that were not their fault). Would 100% recommend!
The gentlemen that came to pick up my stuff were a great help and super professional. Got the job done quick and easy, and showed a lot of care for my more fragile items. Thank you Kareem, Alex, and Jason! 10/10
What a nightmare!! No communication. No idea where our things are 60 days after pickup. Just a brutally bad experience. Looks like quite a few bit/employee reviews on here because there’s no way these people could get 4.7 stars.
Initial estimate for 350 cubic feet came in at a reasonable price. However, after adjusting for count changes, cubic feet doubled. That’s on us. However, they wanted to charge 3x the initial quoted price at the door. Felt like a bait and switch. We canceled and would rather lose the deposit than accept this scam. We were told during the initial sale that they wouldn’t do this and that feels like a lie. To add insult to injury, they told the movers that I had changed my mind about the pricing, and then never informed them that I'd canceled - leaving the drivers sitting outside for 3 hours after my last call before we had to tell them ourselves that we canceled. Poor communication, poor business practices, did not provide their movers with equipment they needed including dollies, braces, etc., and did not keep them informed. Bad business all around.
1.Star Review Stay away from Safe Ship. The entire process felt misleading from start to finish. They quoted one price, then before pickup they called for a so-called “quality assurance” review and acted like inventory specialists, only for the cost to suddenly increase. By then, you’re already worried about losing your deposit if you cancel. The carrier they assigned to my move was We Haul Moving Services, and the experience only got worse from there. Communication was poor, pricing changed unexpectedly, and I felt pressured throughout the process. Instead of transparency, it felt like I was being pushed into accepting higher charges at the last minute. I would never use Safe Ship again and would strongly recommend that anyone considering them read the cancellation policy very carefully before paying a deposit. One of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had.
I would give 0 star (or even negative) if I could. This whole experience with Safe Ship has been a nightmare. Starting from pick up to current. They picked up my stuff on 7/9 and I still haven't received it. I was initially told it usually takes 14-21 business days. Before the pick up, I was given the pick up window (1-2 days) and told to be notified at least 24 hours in advance for the exact date & time of pick up. However, they never contacted me and I had to call them first and that was when I got notified of the exact pick up date and time, which was the night before (~10 hours before). What if I didn't call them first? Were they going to notify me the morning of like 2 hours before they come? They never communicate clearly and will always give you the "estimate", which they will tell you it's "NOT guaranteed". And it's been more than a month and I'm still waiting to receive my shipment. And there was not a single communication that was initiated by Safe Ship. I always have to call them first or open a ticket for them to provide me any update. When I called this Tuesday, I was told that the truck has left on Monday and it will be arriving either this Friday or Saturday. When I called again on Thursday because I needed to know if they were coming on Friday, now they were telling me the truck has left on Wednesday and it will be arriving either Sunday or Monday. They lie to you and will never give you the exact ETA. I have a few moving experiences, but this has been the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm not a type of person who normally leaves a review but I had to for Safe Ship, to help other people to not go through this nightmare. Do NOT use Safe Ship for your move, and you're welcome.
They also helped with packing and labeling everything neatly, which made unpacking so much easier later. Nothing was damaged or lost, everything arrived perfectly at the new place. The team was respectful, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable during the process. Moving can be stressful, but they made it feel effortless. I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move, reliable, trustworthy, and worth every penny. I’ll definitely be using them again for my next move.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a Houston to Denver move that is not even over yet, paid $3800 and am being told I will owe even more on drop off. The sales person I booked with, Lawrence, clearly said whatever he could to get me to book. I specifically asked about shuttle service fees, that I had gotten in quotes from other companies, if an 18-wheeler cannot approach my apartment that is surrounded by one-ways, and Lawrence clearly stated "We use U-Haul size trucks so that won't be an issue." I am dumb for believing him but I have never done a long distance move before and didn't know any better. He stated that my drop-off window was 3-10 days, but upon pickup I would be given a smaller window. That was also a lie. After I paid my deposit and missed the 72 hr refund window, literally the day after this window ended, someone from "Quality Assurance" called to go over my packing list and quote again. They informed me that I would be on the hook a $450 shuttle fee and no I cannot cancel without loosing my deposit. I suspect that they wait until the day after your refund window ends to do this "Quality" call to ensure that you're stuck with them now. I have been going back and forth with customer service and the "escalations department" and the only "solution" they have offered to avoid that $450 fee is to get my own truck and meet the delivery people in a parking lot somewhere, where they can transfer my stuff to my truck and I can take my stuff to a 7th floor apartment by myself. I paid them $3800 already and their only solution is for me to do a third of the manual labor myself. Do not book with this company, the sales people will clearly say whatever it takes to get their commission.
Dwight and Don showed up 3/25/26 to pick up the furniture.they were awesome ,very polite ,helpful ,fast st packaging and highly recommend using this company David and Sons moving &trucking..Now just waiting on the delivery of our stuff to the house in NM.thank-you guys
